Your eyes widen as you hear the demon's offer "w-what?" you say as you try to process the whole thing

"It's quite simple really, all you have to do is choose" the little demon says with his creepy smile "you either choose to be with your family again or choose the imbeciles you have to deal with now" he states as if the answer was obvious

"And all you have to do to get your family back....is to give us full control and give into the black blood" he continues as he smirks evily as he holds out a hand to you showing that if you put your hand in his, that you would be giving him full control

You stand there frozen for a moment as you stare at his hand "so....if I give into the black blood....I can be with my family again?" you ask.

The demon's smirk widens into a grin "exactly" he answers

You look down at the ground And smile a crazed smile is in your face as your bangs cover one of your eyes and your (e/c) eyes glow a beautiful golden color

"You really think...that I'm that stupid!" you yell as you grab the demon by his throat and push him up against the wall.

He was about half your size so his legs dangled as you continued to hold him by his throat.

He clawed at your iron grip with his hands and his sharp nails as he gasped for air

The little reaper who was frozen in shock finally realized the situation his partner was in and he made a move to help his companion

But you turned your arm into a large sword and put it to his throat so he froze in his place

"Let's get one thing straight buddy...IM in control of myself not you" you say as they both stare at you with fear in their eyes

At that moment something in you snapped and the gold that was on the walls started to shine brighter against the black and even seemed to make the black start fading instead

"And do you really think I was going to buy your little 'offer'?" you ask as you glare into the demon's eyes

"I got what you meant...you were telling me to give into the black blood so it would kill me and that's how I would 'be with my family again' " you say with a low growl

"So here's how this is gonna go. IM in control, IM in charge and now I'm going to kill you!" you say and you were about to make a move to completely strangle the little demon until he spoke up "s-soul" He barely managed to gasp out "what?" you say and slightly loosen you grip "speak up" you say

He takes in a deep breath of highly needed oxygen "I-I know soul...I'm part of his black blood as well...please don't hurt me, he needs me to continue living without the strain the black blood will put on him" he explains

Your eyes widen a bit and you completely let go of him and turn the sword back into your arm "you mean soul has been through this too?" you ask

The demon nods "yes, he went through this when he got his black blood as well" he explains

"So I suppose in a way, since you and soul both have me in your black blood that means you two are connected now, more than you ever were before" he continues to speak

"Really? Wow!" you say. The demon nods and looks over at his still frightened friend then sighs

"I suppose we must go by your rules...we admit defeat" he says as he slouches a bit "but we're still here, never forget that" he says and you lift a brow at him in confusion as they both start to wave at you

~in the infirmary~

Suddenly you gasp in a large breath of air and sit up in a bed in the infirmary room, coming out of your comatose state and you hear

"(name)?"
