The Rejection

Chapter Twenty Two

Lyle looks at me with angry eyes and grabs my wrist harshly.

"Lyle, stop, you're hurting me," I say as he drags me to our room. Tears stream my cheeks. He throws me on the bed and hovers over me. He grabs my hair and pulls my face to his.

"Who do you belong to?" He growls.

"Lyle, please-" he slaps me.

"Who do you belong to?" He shouts.

"You. I belong to you," I say and sob lightly.

"That's right and if that human thinks he can take you from me he's wrong. And if he comes around here again I will not hesitate to kill him," Lyle says. He storms out of the room. I sit up and wipe my tears.

I can't believe he did that. It wasn't my fault Danny decided to show up and profess his love to me. I thought he was out of my life for good. I sigh and get up. I change Beast's training pad and pick him up in my arms. I kiss his head and turn on the tv.

Beast nibbles on my fingers as I watch a Supernatural marathon. An hour later, Lyle returns.

"You're needed in the hospital wing," he says. I nod and get up. I hold onto Beast as I follow Lyle to the hospital wing. He leads me to a room. Arianna's room. I growl and he shushes me.

"Good afternoon, Luna," she croaks. I give her a cold stare and nod slightly. Her chest is wrapped and her face stitched. Her chart says she had to have vaginal reconstruction surgery. "I'm sorry, Luna."

"Your apology is not accepted and seeing as I will be Luna the day after tomorrow I declare that once you heal you are banished from the pack," I say and exit the room. Lyle follows me as I head back to our room with Beast. I lie on the bed and continue my marathon. Lyle tries to cuddle me. "Don't touch me." He growls.

"Carrie, I'm sorry. I love you," he says. I roll over and look him in the eyes. He touches my cheek and sparks erupt.

"If you loved me you wouldn't have cheated on or hit me," I say and roll back over. He whimpers. Wait, what? He just whimpered. I've never heard him do that before. I sigh. I can't stay mad at him. I roll back over and kiss him. "Last chance." He smiles and hugs me to him as Beast lays on the pillow above us.

"Thank you, baby doll," he says. We kiss again and finally things are right again. Wendy walks in.

"Sir, the Alpha and Luna of the Silver Crest Pack are here. They want to talk to you and Carrie," she says and leaves the room. Wait, what are my parents doing here? I sigh and pick up Beast and we head downstairs. We get to the meeting room and I'm greeted by my parents, Sally, and shit....
