Chapter 5: First Impressions & Chapter 6: Midnight Meeting

                                                     ~Chapter 5: First Impressions~

Midnight Blackhaven, oh how brilliant it was, enough lights to take the place of every star in the galaxy. I loved the scene here, the way it appeared at this time was just awe inspiring to me, the I always thought of how easy it was to make it anywhere via rooftop. as I go return to the very spot I saw him, he was there leaned up against the cedar fence, beer in hand. He wasn't even looking in my direction when he seemingly gestured from me to come with his fingers. I was right up to him now, breathing a tad more heavily in response to sprinting I did earlier.

When I got there I realized I neglected the forest back here, looks suprisingly more notica- my thoughts were cut off by the sound of him kicking part of the metal pole down to the fence that blocked off the forest.Oh, the sights that followed that moment, a rundown but somehow still beautiful cabin lay in a clearing in the forest. "We'll fix that fence, I guess." We both chuckled.

As we approached the cabin a slide shot out of the door. The eye of a mask peeked through, "Password?" The female voice responded

Reaper simply responded, "Don't give me that, babe."

The door opened and I was finally taken into the assassin world, it was a shitty world, but it still was an honor. In the corner of my eye I noticed Reaper was giving the female assassin a hug."I take it this is the rookie right?" She said

"Yeah, Hilarious meet Condor, Condor, Hilarious." 

She put her hand out as if to shake hands, so I did. "Welcome to the crew baby!"

Woah, she's an excited one.

Reaper got onto to the podium and was immediately greeted wth shouts of "Hoorah!" then one assassin  broke the chant. "Reaper, you promised us you'd bring us Hilarious!"

Another started talking, "Yeah man is he part of the crew?" 

Reaper beer still in hand, "I am a man of my word, Hilarious get on up here!"

As I got up, the chants continued, 

"Alright guys, important business to conduct, Hilarious, there is  an empty seat next to Devi."

Devi raised her hand for me to recognize her.Well I guess it's finally time to get this started.

                                                    ~Chapter 6: Midnight Meeting~                                                                                     

"Well, as I said we certainly have some important business to discuss." For the first time all night it was actually quite quiet, but in an eerily sort of way, made me kind of uneasy.

"Currently our territory has gone down 5%. Now, normally that wouldn't be a problem, but its been taken over by the Chaos Crew." Boos, and shouts ran through the cabin."Calm down! We will fix this, we'll have a vote, because we like to stay democratic in this establishment! All in favor of taking back our territory say aye!"AYE! shouted the crowd, I figured I had a say in it too but I shut my mouth."All in favor of not taking back our territory say Nye." 

"Nye!" I stood up. The whole crowd looked at me as if I was some kind of alien "Hear me out, why would we want that territory, I believe we can easily take Chaos on but not the 4 Police Stations sanctioned in that place!" "It's the principle!" said another assassin the crowd seemed to agree, shouting encouraging noises to that member.

"If we let Chaos take that area, eventually they'll be taken out by their own greed, and all we'll have to do is pickup the scraps, and reclaim it then." The crowd now seemed in favor of my idea.

Loud murmurs bursted out. "ASSASSINS!" shouted Reaper, obviously not pleased in the yelling.

The crowd instantly was silent once again. "Ok, so as I stated before we're going to keep things fair. All in favor of Hilarious's solution say aye!" Reaper raised his hand in favor of it, and the whole crowd shouted AYE!

Looks like I've found my place here already.
