Chapter 19: The Night continues & Chapter 20: Honey I'm Home

~Chapter 19:The Night Continues~

"Hey Reaper," Began Titan, "You wanna get that mission briefing done now?"

"Huh, yeah sure, whatever." Reaper then started talking into a watch that I just noticed he had.

"Ace, rally the troops, we got things to do." I got a bit anxious, I'm new here and I've never had a mission briefing,

I always wondered what the Briefing room looks like. After some time passed, we hauled our way over to the base.

After walking in, Devi introduced me to some masks I didn't recognize. "Hilarious, they are some people you need to know, meet the leader of our Recon team, Ace" He raised his hand in greeting.

"I might as well tell you all of the leader's then, Titan's the leader of the Tech team- as you should have noticed- last and least is the leader of the Intel Squad is Panther."

A black mask with golden eyes shook its head. Now Reaper stood to speak,

"Alright guys I know its late but I need to shove this info into your heads for our next mission, to the briefing room."

The room was, well it looked like what would happen if a 007 movie and Star Trek shook hands. A giant screen on the table that resembled some sort of radar, lit up the entirety of the room.

Slight groans and moans were heard as we swiftly filed into the seats. Instinctively, I sat next to Devi and she put my arm around her.

Great I get to go public now but wait, "Really after all that happened to Rea-" She shushed me.

Reaper began to speak, "Now despite all the crap they've put us through we're assisting the police they've discovered us, and they're offering a clean slate and a free trip outta here valid any time we need it if we do this."

I got a bit unsettled as Reaper went off to the back sat down and started to drink, and Devi took his place.

She then took off her bandana, and I saw those beautiful lips again.

"Alright boys, as you now know, we'll be doing a simple capture the flag for the boys behind the badge." A projection of the building scaled up on the screen. "Our objective is held up in the 15 story private HQ of Injectors Inc. located center of Firebridge City. We'll be entering on the roof via Titan's latest Deathtrap." Titan shrugged off the comment.

"Our assault force will be divided into two squads, Squad A will consist of Reaper, Titan, Hilarious, Me, and Panther. Squad B is Raven, Beast, Ravage, Frost and Jazz. Rest of you we'll be working recon. Squad A will be infiltrating the building and Squad B will be eliminating the guards before they call the authorities and create a scene."

Titan stood beside Devi and started his speech. "The Bloodhawk, or deathtrap as Devi put it- is ment for light cargo, no heavy weapons, also plasma gear fry the Bloodhawk's stealthing system." He looked to me, "That includes your hoverboard."

Great...

Reaper spoke for the last time, "And That's all folks, y'all head off to wherever you rest your heads and be back Friday, that's when we'll be heading off.

~Chapter 20: Honey I'm home~

As I entered my home, I was alarmed by Mother's concerned voice,

"And Where have you been?

And I would've gotten away with it too...

Another voice startled me as well,

"Don't be so hard on the boy, he's my only son, don't break him."

Dad.

As mom and dad greeted I retreated upstairs

"Don't think your off the hook." Said a happier mom.

Whe're would we be without our dads.
