(Cassandra's p.o.v)

I come home from a busy day at work. Anthony was sitting on the couch with his feet resting on the coffee table. "Hey, let's be Modest and take your feet off the table." Tapping his feet. He kindly took them off.

I sat down next to him, brushing a strand of hair behind my ear. "How was work?" Anthony asked, wrapping an arm around me.

"Umm it was busy, busy, busy." I said with a happy sigh. "I'm glad I get a whole week off." I get up to grab myself a water bottle.

"What are you gonna do all week?" He asks sipping on a dr. Pepper soda can.

I took a 1/4 of the water bottle. "I gotta pack to go camping with my family."

"Who's all going?" He asks, turning down the volume of the television.

"There's my dad, Melody and Matthew, then my friend Brady."

Anthony gets up and throws away the empty can. "Mind if I go?" He asked.

I raise an eyebrow. "Why? You didn't want to go last year, or the year before that, or the year before that." I crossed my arms, looking up at him.

He shrugged "thought I'd change up a bit."

I lick my dry lips "is it because of my friend Brady?" I asked.

He shook his head "of course not.... Maybe. But I just want to make sure you are okay on this trip. I'll drive" he smiles, caressing my cheek with his thumb and kissing my forehead.

I nod my head "yeah sure. Let's go pack then..."

We took the past hour to pack our things, such as clothes, snacks, drinks, and a raft that I held around. The next day we took off on our 3 hour drive to the camp.

We found a nice parking spot next to my dad's cabin. Each person shares a cabin with one other person.

Shortly after we arrive, I got out of the car and see Brady pull around the corner and park besides our vehicle. I smiled when he got out of the car.

I helped Anthony unpack our car, placing it into one cabin that was ours. Brady decided to share a cabin with my father, there was two beds so it all works out.

Melody and her new husband Matthew arrived an hour later. We all helped them unpack into the third cabin. Anthony just talked to my dad and how he never met anyone here. So I decided to introduce him to everyone.

"Hey Anthony, come meet my sister." I said, gesturing him over.

"Anthony, Melody, Melody, Anthony, Anthony Matthew, Matthew, Anthony." I said quickly, then took a deep breath.

Anthony shook Matthew's hand and then Melody's hand.

We sat on the porch of my dad's cabin, talking and telling jokes. Shortly after, Brady comes out and sits a few feet away from me, he stared at his feet hanging off the porch.

"Oh Anthony, this is Brady. A really good friend of mine." I said.

Brady smirked and gave a little wave, Anthony didn't bother saying anything to him. I elbowed him in the stomach and he grunted. "Hey." He said slightly in pain.

Brady scoffs and looked back down at his feet.

My father then comes out with a camera, hopping off the porch. "Okay kiddos! Photo time." He sets up the camera tripod a few meters away from the cabin.

He set the timer and scurried over, sitting in between Brady and I. Wrapping his arms around our necks. All of USS squished together and smiled. Except for Brady....

When we looked at the picture and Brady didn't even crack a small smile. I wanted t find out what was wrong with him. Its not normal for him to act like this.

I walk over to him, sitting next to him, but not to close. "Hey." I said with a smile.

He looked up at me. "Hey" he sighed a little.

"Care to tell me what's wrong?" I nudged his arm.

He scoots away a little. "I- I Rather not." He said softly.

"You can tell me. I'm your best friend!"

He shrugged "how long have you been with Anthony."

I think for a little bit. "Let's see... He asked me to be his girlfriend on new years, so a total of 4 to 5 years... A few years after you disappeared." I said.

Brady seemed a little surprised but then shrug it off. "Hey I wanted to show you something." I said, then pulling out a red small box.

He widen his eyes, "you still have it?"

"I haven't even opened it since you gave it to me." I smile. "I wanted you to open it and give it to me yourself."

He held the gift in his palms and looked down at it, before he could even pull the ribbon apart Anthony swoops by.

"Hey little man. Mind if I steal My Girl for a little while?" He wrapped his arm around my neck, "Thanks" he then drags me along with him towards our cabin.

He closes the door behind himself and just raises his arms. "What the fuck Cass?" He gives me this disappointing look, like I've done something wrong.

"What?" I just shrugged with a dumbfounded look.

"You do realize that you are my girlfriend, right?" He steps closer to me.

I back up to the wall. "Well yeah, of course."

"Then what the fuck are you doing, flirting with this Brady guy." He clenches his hands into a fist.

I cross my arms. "I am not flirting with anyone. Mkay Anthony?"

He huffed and puffed, he had no other words to say to me. "Just, stay away from him..." He takes a solid deep breath "please."

"Yeah. But I'm not keeping any promises. He's my friend. You don't have to be friends with him."
