Every morning, I wake up, take a shower, get dressed, and go to work. That's my everyday routine. But something about today just changed. Oh wait its Saturday. Weekends my only love, plus the internet.
After waking up, making myself coffee. I opened my macbook, opening my Facebook. Started scrolling through my feeds. I saw a pic of Justin and another guy, they were both making the duck face. I think to myself I swear he's gay or something. Chuckling.
After scrolling my Facebook for about 10 minutes, I took a sip of my coffee while closing my Mac. But suddenly, a blinking blue bar on the right bottom part of the screen. I looked at it in confusion, staring at the name of the person who wanted to talk to me. Cassandra Quinn. My heart pounded with joy, I opened my Mac all the way open and read the message.
Cass: Hey Bud! Since I saw you yesterday thought I'd search you up :)
I smiled at her text. Then I replied.
Brady: Yo! It was awesome to see you again. :D
Cass: So how are you and your girlfriend?
Brady: OOHHH she is not my girlfriend. It was just a weird date.
Cass: well that's uncommon for you. Hahaha :)
A strange look appeared on my face.
Brady: Why does everyone think it's so weird for me to be going on dates!?
Cass: Well... I... I don't know its just unusual. Your not the most sociable birdy out there.
Brady: Thank you for lowering my self-esteem :/
Cass: No problem!
I rolled my eyes, then looking at her profile closely. There she is smiling then with a boy smiling behind her. I was confused. Who the fuck is that?
Brady: hey, I didn't know you had a brother haha. :P
I just assumed.
Cass: What? I don't have a brother.
Brady: Oh.... Then who's that in your profile picture??
Cass: Oh that's my boyfriend, Anthony. :3
My heart broke slowly as it felt like it stopped. I stilled loved her since day one, she was my first kiss after all. Why couldn't I just get over her, she was the one who broke up with me in the first place. But why? I honestly thought she felt the same way about me.
