The pain

The deep sadness that haunts your living moments, the crippling feeling of your heart breaking. The mocking taunts that ring in your ears, the chocked sobs stuck in your throat.
The feeling of your anger fuelling your silent tears. You know that one? Those aches? The one that you can't seem to forget? We all are well aquatinted with that pain, some better than others. But most of us hide it with a smile painted on as fake as our I'm okays. But those are the strongest people, the ones that will be the last ones laughing. Not a joyful laugh filled with humour, but a cold one, the one sends you chills. Cause we will forever be reminded it would be so easy; just the flick of the knife, a single bullet, a step too close to the edge. But we keep living until the pain gets too much and ache consumes you, and then you know what true hell is like. Not living because you have to but because you don't want to give the ones you love that ache, that pain.
