Chapter 1 - Gotta Love em!

"ALEXIS JAMES!! GET DOWN HERE THIS MOMENT!" Mrs.Ryder shouted from the bottom of the stairs.

"Oh Shit! Couldn't that baldy wait till i get my new cell phone? But no. why should he listen to me! I specifically told him to call tomorrow to complain! BTW even you were involved. you should also come down with me" i frowned.

"Well we didn't give him any reason to listen to our requests now did we? and no thanks.i will share my part of scolding when i get back home" laughed Natie. 

"Hahaha good point! His face when he saw his car was priceless and when he saw us with the spray paints in our hand! I could literally see smoke coming out of his ears!!" I was now rolling on the floor trying to control her laugh.

"Expressions & reactions aside, you better go down befo......" Natile was cut off by another shout from downstairs

"ALEXIS SCARLET JAMES!IF YOU DO NOT COME DOWN IN 10 SEC YOU ARE GROUNDED FOR LIFE!"

"Its my full name now...i better go...wish me luck!" I got up from the floor and went downstairs to be greeted by red-faced short plump woman. Now don't think this is one of those moments when she is red due to embarrassment or shyness no way! This is the moment when she is bursting with anger causing her to go red all over making it obvious for everyone not to come anywhere n near 3 feet of her radius.....

i found her standing in the living room. My seven year old sister, Bridget,  was sitting on the couch watching Tom & Jerry with a bowl of popcorn in her lap. But on my entrance she turned towards us as if we were the most entertaining show ever.....well it probably was.....

"WHAT IS THIS I AM HEARING ALEXIS" Mom shouted as soon as she saw me

"Mom it was just a simple prank..and it was too show our artistic talent" I tried to reason with her but no luck.

"DON'T YOU SIMPLE PRANK ME!THIS HAS GOT TO STOP ALEXIS OR ELSE I WILL START GROUNDING YOU. NOW YOU AND NATALIE HAVE BETTER GO AND APOLOGIZE TO MR. ROBERT AND APOLOGIZE SINCERELY. HE IS YOUR PRINCIPAL AND HE CAN EXPEL YOU WHENEVER HE WANTS! HE WON'T WANT TO KEEP LITTLE TEENAGE TROUBLE-MAKERS LIKE YOU FOR LONG.HE IS YOUR PRINCIPAL ALEXIS! HE CAN MAKE YOU STAY FOR ANOTHER YEAR RATHER THAN LETTING YOU GRADUATE! ALTHOUGH I AM SURE HE WOULD HAPPILY GET RID OF YOU AS SOON AS HE GETS THE OPPORTUNITY. OH AND YOU CAN SAY GOODBYE TO YOU NEW PHONE FOR ANOTHER 2 WEEKS!" Mom continued shouting and i listened.. It was best to stay quiet and let her take out all her anger. If you haven't guessed yet, my mom is very short-tempered.

"okay i am sorry mom. i will go and apologize to him I promise and i will try to  make myself a better person and not try to get myself in any trouble and i will also try to keep Natie out of it" I went over and kissed her on the cheek.

She cooled down but obviously was not stupid to believe my "making myself a better person" statements. "Natalie and you are very bad for each other. Now go. Your father wants to speak to you. He is in the kitchen"

i made my way over to the kitchen where i found my dad looking into the fridge. He looked up when he saw me enter. He went to the counter and picked up a package and handed it to me.

"Here is your new Samsung S4, Your result was once again outstanding. I am really proud of you princess" Dad smiled and kissed me on my forehead.

"But mom said i wouldn't get it for another 2 weeks" I asked confused

"You know how your mom is. A bomb from outside but a teddy from inside" He winked

"You better not let mom hear you say that! and Thank you so much dad! Love you! Thank mom for me will you?she is in too much of a temper right now" I laughed

"Love you too princess and okay but what did you do this time?" Dad said chuckling softly

"Nothing much. Just made colourful spots on Mr. Roberts  white car" I smiled sweetly

" Oh well! you have done way worse than that. What was his reaction?" Dad asked curiously. Did i mention my dad was the coolest one ever? Well he is. Where mom scolded me on every prank or trouble i made, my dad supported me and laughed along with me & even sometimes gave me ideas although this knowledge was well hidden from mom. Even dad was sometimes scared of her....but he helped me as long as I kept my grades up which to tell you the truth is not that hard for either me nor Natalie. We were both good at studies when we actually tried which only happened during exams....

"Haha he came out of the building while Natie and I were still doing our artistic work. He was so red I wouldn't have been surprised if he would have burst out of anger" I smirked

Dad burst out laughing but soon quietened up at the sound of mom's voice. she entered the kitchen, her anger obviously still there

"YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE LAUGHING AND ENCOURAGING YOUR DAUGHTER!" mom scolded dad

Dad motioned me to go upstairs and i knew dad would handle mom from here so i sneaked out before she noticed.

"Now dear it was just a small joke and to tell you the truth her principal is not a man of the best personality so he kinda deserved it" Dad tried to console mom

"But what if she gets expelled??!!" Mom argued

"You know she won't. Mr. Roberts won't want to get rid of someone who gets good grades" Dad replied with a wink.

I just laughed and went upstairs. Gotta love my parents. They truly are made for each other and complete each other not to forget they are the best parents anyone could have!!!

So this is my first story here on whattpad and i have got lots and lots of ideas for this story!! Just give it a chance please xD
