At school I kept drawing hearts on my notebook. I felt like a little girl who had this big crush, writing Mrs. Josh Thompson all over the place. I also could not pay attention in any of my classes and I did not even do any of my homework or classwork. That is how you know I had a problem. I was just eager to see him. I did not have to kiss him, or hug him, or even talk to him. I just needed to see his face, his lean body, and that shaggy dark hair of his.
I was at my locker throwing my books in there. That's when I felt someone's hand on my shoulder.
"Hey Mari." said Drew.
"Oh hi Drew. What's up?"
"Well I was just wondering if maybe we could hang this weekend?" he said.
It was kind of cute how he was asking. He had his book bag over his shoulder and his hands in his pockets. He had that cute face like he was nervous for my answer.
"Wow. Um can I think about it? I have to see if I have work to do this weekend." I said to him.
"Sure take your time. Just don't let me wait too long." he said with a smile.
I laughed.
"I promise to let you know soon."
"Thanks. bye." he said.
Drew left and went down the hall. My phone vibrated and it was a text from Josh.
Im outside.
I slammed my locker shut, making it echoe throughout the hallway and I ran through half the school to the parking lot. When I got outside I looked and saw Josh parked outside on the street instead of the parking lot. We didn't want anyone to see us and get any ideas and tell Rachelle.
I got in the car.
"Hi." I said with a smile.
"Hey." he said smirking.
He started the car and pulled off. I told Rachelle I was going somewhere with my parents that night, so she wouldn't want to hang. I felt bad about lying to everyone, but what can a girl do?
"How was school?" Josh asked.
"I don't know." I said.
"You don't know? How the hell you don't know?" he asked quite amused.
"Well I couldn't pay attention."
That caught his attention even more. He looked at me with smoldering eyes.
"Why not?"
I looked down and started to blush. I was so embarrassed for my reason.
"Is it that bad your blushing?" he asked in disbelief.
"Yes it is." I said covering my face with my hand.
He reached over and grabbed my hand. He kissed it and held it while he drived. Oh god. I'm gonna need strength.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked to change the subject.
"To a place." he said smirking but not looking at me.
"Where?" I asked.
"It's a surprise."
"I don't like surprises." I said.
Josh looked at me with 'yeah right' face expression. He knew damn well I loved surprises. I just smiled at him and he shook his head. He drove us to a beach. I looked around and saw sand and water.
"Why are we out here?" I asked.
"Because I felt like going to the beach."
We both got out the car. He walked to the front of the car waiting for me. I was taking some parts of my uniform off so I wouldn't look so formal. I did the usual taking the tie off and letting my hair out. I also unbuttoned the top of my white collared shirt and I took my shoes off.
