Loving my bff's brother was just the beginning of my troubles...

Chapter 8

Leomari (Mari)'s Pov

I looked out my window and saw Josh storming back to his house.  He was so mad and if anything he shouldn't be.  But that's just him I guess.  I turned back around and sat back on the floor with Drew.  He offered to help me study since he took the class last year.  After all, he is older than me. 

"He sounded upset." he said jokingly.

I knodded my head.

"Yeah." I said releasing a stressful breath.

"I don't know why.  He was just suppose to give you a ride." Drew said.

I knodded just to keep his thoughts the way they were.  I didn't need him to get any ideas that my boyfriend was mad I was with another guy.  Drew opened up the book and began looking at the chapter sections.

"What chapter were you guys on?" he asked.

"Umm...14." I said leaning over to him and pointing.

After I did I realized I was once again in an awkward position.  By the best of his ability, Drew tried not to look down my shirt.  He turned his head and tried to make it seem like he was following my finger at the Chapter heading.  I sat back down awkwardly and pulled my hair behind my hair.

"Yeah..." I said.

"Well we can work on this.  Don't worry." he said with a smirk.

"Thank you." I said.

"No problem."

We worked for about 2 hours and then we took a break. Drew and I went downstairs to the kitchen to find something to snack on.

"Do you want a soda?" I asked.

"Nah.  I don't care for it that much." he said.

I turned around in shock.

"Neither can I.  I prefer apple juice." I said.

He smiled. "I'll just take some of that then." he said.

I poured us some juice and grabbed two bags of chips. We snuck them upstairs without my mom seeing and into my room. 

"Nice." he said.

"What?"

"I knew you weren't as good as you seemed to be." he said teasingly.

"What are you talking about?" I said sitting on the floor again.

He sat down too and opened up a bag of chips.

"You just snuck some chips up stairs.  That shows you have a sneaky side." he said.

"Oh please." I said rolling my eyes.

"I wonder what else there is to know." he said with amusement.

"Shut up!" I said throwing a pillow at him.

He blocked it and laughed.

"So I'm right?" he asked.

"No.  Your not." I said.

"That's a yes then." 

"Shut up Drew!" I said shoving his arm.

Suddenly without a notice, Drew grabbed my arm and pulled me back towards him into a kiss.  I was so shocked.  I didn't believe this happened.  I kind of pulled away from him and had a blank expression on my face.  Drew on the other hand had a hurtful expression on his.

"I'm sorry." he said.

"No. Um...it's fine." I said looking down.

"I shouldn't have done that.  I just couldn't wait anymore.  I've been wanting that for weeks." he said.
