Gi Melin (I Love You)

Chapter 12

It was Aurelea's coronation day, and many people, elves, and dwarfs were arriving. Aurelea didn't want to get out of bed and prepare for the ceremony. She just sat down in her bed, looking up at the roof, dreading today. Aurelea's parents were in the throne room. Legolas was sitting on the chair, while Tauriel stood by his side. Many of the Middle Earth leaders were arriving, and they were escorted to the throne room, where they were greeted by Legolas and Tauriel.

Elboron, the new leader of Rohan, had arrived with his fiance, the princess if Arador. Then his parents came in, and they told Legolas and Tauriel, that they would chat with them later. After them, Aragorn and Arwen came in. Legolas and Tauriel did not ask about Arthion, but they were thinking about him.

Soon enough, Arthion had greeted Legolas and Tauriel. Arthion bowed to Aurelea's parents.

"Hir vuin, and hiril vuin (my lord and my lady)," Arthion bowed.

"We are glad you could make it," Tauriel said.

"How was your travel, Arthion?" Legolas asked.

"Very good, hir vuin (my lord)," Arthion answered.

There was an awkward silence between Arthion, Legolas, and Tauriel. Arthion broke the silence, by saying, "I will see you at the ceremony." Arthion bowed, and then exited the room.

Aurelea was in her room, getting ready for her coronation. She was wearing a robe, while she was doing her hair. Her hair was put into a bun, that had little flowers and butterflies on it, with a little strand of hair hanging on the side. She walked over to her bed, where her dress was resting on the top. She lifted the navy blue, and white dress up. She changed into the dress, and then looked into the mirror. Her hair was done nicely, and the dress showed all her curves.

As she was looking in the mirror, there was a knock on the door. She walked over and answered the door. Elboron and his fiance were standing in the hall. Aurelea was so shocked. She invited them in, and she got compliments on her dress from Elboron's fiance.

"I am so happy you made it," Aurelea admitted with a big smile.

"We couldn't miss your coronation," Elboron confessed.

Aurelea talked with both of them for a while, until her father came. Aurelea said her goodbyes to her friends, for now, until the after-party. Her father looked at her and almost started to cry. Aurelea smiled at her father.

"Are you okay, ada (father)?" Aurelea asked.

"I'm fine. Legolas assured. "I am so proud of you Aurelea, you have become an outstanding young lady."

Legolas and Aurelea hugged each other. Then her father wiped the tears, that were starting to drop from his face.

"There is someone here to see you," 

Her father stepped out of the way. She looked at the door, and she heard footsteps coming toward her room. Aurelea smiled when she saw who came into her room.

"A (Hi) grandfather," Aurelea squealed.
