"Sir, it looks like an army." Sulu said, his voice sounding unusually calm through the communicator. Jim sighed, and quickly stood up from his seat.

"Okay Sulu. Fire a few warning shots, try and keep them as far as possible while I tell Pavel."

"Yes sir."

'Okay..... Where would I be if I was Pavel?' He wondered, walking the halls frantically. He was going so quick, that he ran into the person in front of him, and both fell to the ground.

"Sorry!" Jim said, standing up. It was then he noticed the person was Zaclyn. "Zaclyn! Thank goodness I found you. We have a problem, I need to speak with Pavel, now."

Zaclyn nodded, and together they hurried to Pavel's office.

His office was a place that Pavel rarely found the time to visit. He was sitting in his spinning chair, thinking. His hair, which was at one point slicked back with hair gel, was now back to its usual curly craziness.

Pavel was trying to think about the different ways he could improve the planets military defense. The Zindaki being a peaceful people, they didn't really have much, and Starfleet insisted they do something to increase their military.

He had just stopped himself from running his hand through his hair, when the door flew open, and a very flustered looking Jim Kirk walked in.

"Chekov, we've got a problem."

Sulu moved to the command chair, letting an ensign take his place. He felt almost gittery, sitting in the big chair. But it was comfortable, and the way people looked at him was something he could get used to.

"Okay, on my mark fire three warning shots about twenty degrees to the right of the leading ship." He said, and the two ensigns at the front console nodded. That was when he noticed just how young they looked.

The navigator was a girl with very long, brown hair. She looked no younger than seventeen, and the dark skinned man at the helm looked only a few years older.

It was obvious this was their first mission, they looked terrified. Sulu felt a small smile form on his face, as he thought of the first mission he and Pavel went on. They were just like those two.

"Three, two, one. Fire."

Three space torpedoes (that's what they're called, right???) flew from the Enterprise towards the fleet.

One by one each exploded with bursts of bright light, and loud, but muffled booms. The ship heading the fleet rocked slightly from the shockwaves, and stopped.

"Sir! We're being scanned!" Someone said, Sulu wasn't paying much attention, his focus was on the view screen.

The pattern of their armada, the design of the ships, it all looked so familiar. He just couldn't place where from...

Asonia was standing in one of the gardens, bundled up in a winter jacket, and a cream colored scarf, she admired the silent beauty of the frost covered flowers.

Of all the seasons Zindaki had (which was four, just like earth, but summer and spring were so similar there that they kind of counted for one) she loved winter the most.

Just seeing everything carpeted in white snow, and being able to feel the crisp coolness of the air made her feel more at home.

Asonia walked down a pathway, making her way to a bench, when she felt something. A commotion somewhere....
