Timothy laid on the back of the cart as silently as possible. He looked up at the stars above him. Him and Pendleton had snuck onto this hay cart after walking for miles. Pendleton snore beside him. Timothy rolled his eyes.

We're gonna get caught because of that noise.

They had been traveling for a few days now and we're close to thier destination. Before he fell asleep Pendleton told him where they were headed. Timothy had never been to the South Sea but he heard it was dangerous. Many ships had gone down in storms lately and pirates were said to be hiding in the caves of the archipelago's cliffs. And that name he mentioned 'Captain Rusteel', Timothy shivered at the thought of it. The entire story of it, he replaced his body with machinery. His mind drifted to the sword part that they needed to find. The map would help but the islands that they would need to search were unexplored and probably crawling with pirates.

The cart came to an abrupt stop. Timothy shot up and grabbed Pendleton by the collar.

"Wake up you!" He hissed while shaking Pendleton's head.

The back of the hay cart opened to show and elderly farmer holding a knife, he was shaking in fear. Pendleton finally woke up with a long yawn. He took in his surroundings and eventually noticed the knife.

"I fall asleep for a few hours and I wake up and we're at knife point. Sir, I apologize for stowing away on your cart would you be kind enough to let us go?"

Someone swung a club from behind, catching Pendleton in the side of the head, knocking him out instantly. Timothy turned to see what hit him but suffered the same fate and fell beside his companion.

Timothy came to, to the feeling of swaying and the smell of salt. His head was thumping and he was tied to something. It was like a pillar of wood, but he wasn't sure. He heard voices around him but he couldn't tell what they were saying. He opened his eyes and looked around.

He was on a ship! He started to panic, he wasn't the best swimmer and what if they wanted to throw them overboard.

"Calm down, if the wanted us dead they wouldn't have brought us onto the ship." Pendleton whispered beside him.

Timothy looked over at him, he could see the welt on his head from where he had been hit.

"So what's the plan?" Timothy asked.

"Don't got one. But I'm open to suggestions."

"Are you serious! We don't have time for this."

"You think I don't know that. This has to be some kind of misunderstanding, I'm sure it'll be fine."

"Yeah cause people go around hitting others on the head accidentally all the time." Timothy mumbled under his breath.

"I think it's time we meet our captors, what say you?" Before Timothy could stop him Pendleton started shouting, "What kind of service is this? I thought we ordered better lodging than this!"

The pirates turned in thier direction. They all scowled at them and pulled out thier cutlasses. Timothy thought they were going to cut them free and toss them over then and there, but all the pirates stopped when it started. Everything fell silent as the sound of heavy footsteps approached. The man that walked past Timothy and Pendleton was wrapped in a dark blue sailors jacket. He wore a matching captains hat with gold trim. His sword hung at his side, gleaming in the moon light. He had a scarf wrapped aound his face where only his eyes were visible. Timothy only got a glance as he walked past. He stopped in front of the other pirates and stared at them. They all ran below deck.

"Ahhh, someone of sense," Pendleton said. Timothy figured he was the Captain but it sounded like Pendleton knew him.

"The infamous Captain Rusteel."
