"A monk? There seems to be alot of those around for them being extinct." The boy had taken Timothy off guard. Not only was he a monk, he had helped scare off a demon larger than any Timothy had seen yet.

"You're the boy that Virgil has been looking over." He sized Timothy up. "You don't seem like a hero to me." He said finally.

"Well you don't look like a monk." Timothy shot back.

The boy was slightly taller than Timothy with stormy grey eyes and longer light brown hair. He had light leather armor with a belt filled with throwing knives. He had short rod slipped attached to his side. He wore cloth pants and leather boots.

The boy looked down at himself.

"That may be true but I am one. But it doesn't matter what I look like, you need to tell me why the demons are after you."

"I can't tell you that."

"Well, why not?"

"Because it is none of your business." Virgil had snuck up behind Drake and laid a hand on his shoulder. Pendleton was right behind him. Pendleton waved and behind him.

"What happened here? I go on one scav party and I come back and you lot had all the fun."

Timothy spoke up. "It was some kind of demon. It was a human selling potions and then it changed into this horrible creature. It had potions inside it's arms."

Virgil rubbed his chin. "This is troubling."

Pendleton nodded. "I agree."

"We must speak to the chief about this matter."

Virgil spun around and quickly walked away from them. Drake followed right behind with Pendleton and Timothy at the end.

Timothy leaned over to Pendleton. "Where have you been and why you leave me behind?"

Pendleton looked at him. "Tim, you and I both know that you were in no condition to move around after that demon gave you a thrashing. You were lucky to survive."

"Yeah, but we don't keep things from each other. We're a team."

"Tim if I had told you what I thought I knew, you would have gotten yourself killed."

"Well what do you know?"

"When you woke up in that tent I was talking to the chief. He knows where the demons are and where Sonia is. The ruins are close and we'll fortified. With what you told me about what happened in the village, the demon that took Sonia is called a Creator. It's like a head demon and it creates it's underlings." Pendleton stopped Timothy and grabbed his shoulders. "It steals human souls and places them in demons. That's where they get life. Most of the time they get souls from the Underworld but fresh human souls are much better and are more obediant."

"We need to save her. Where are the temples?" Timothy pushed past him.

"Tim the thing that I learned is, no one can leave the village. Once you can no longer see it through the trees it appears right in front of you again. Like when we were in the forest. The only way to the temples is going to be with the help of Virgil and Drake."

Virgil had entered a large tent up ahead with Drake in tow. Pendleton pulled Timothy along. Inside was the old man Timothy had seen before, he was sitting at a desk marking a map. He looked up for a moment when they entered but went back to his map after he saw who had entered.

"So what has happened in my village this time, Virgil."

"We now have confirmation that the leader of the demons in the temples is a Creator."
