Chapter 1:Rukia Goes M.I.A.

Byakuya's POV:
I sat down in my office, my assistant captain, Renji next to me. We were doing paper work when I heard a knock on my door. "Enter." I said in my monotone voice. The door slid open and I recognized the messenger as Hinamori. "Well, what is it?" She kept her unreadable expression on and kept her eyes closed. "Rukia has gone missing." I didn't show any emotion, but inside, I was shocked. "Very well, you may leave." "I'll give you some time to process this captain." Renji said and left with Hinamori.

I put my hands on my desk and breathed heavily with wide eyes. 'She is my last link to my wife, and she's missing!?' I got myself under control and felt a pain in my chest. When I looked down, opening my cloak to reveal my chest, I saw a small hole there, growing very slowly. I heard a sound behind me and looked to see Aizen.

He smiled at me. "I see the hole in your chest, the pain won't let up, will it? Now that Rukia is missing, it's began to open. I can help you in exchange for your help in total control of all worlds." I glared at him. "I'll never help you." I sneered at him as I said that. "That's your choice, I'll be back to check on you." And with that, he disappeared. I put my cloak back on and covered the hole. 'I'm going to have to find her quickly.' I decided to summon Mayuri.

We walked through the soul society and he looked at me. "Is something wrong?" I looked to him and showed him the hole. He gasped and looked back at me. "That hole means you're becoming a hollow, albeit very slowly. This hasn't been heard of, happening to a soul reaper. The only way to fill that hole is finding Rukia or getting another wife." I thought back to Aizen's words and sighed. "Send out all of our forces and find Rukia, tell no one about my condition." I said with a hint of anger mixed with fear. "Would you permit me to test on you if I say it might get rid of that hole?" "Do whatever it takes, go ahead and do tests on me, make sure no one knows about the testing as well." "Excellent, let's get to it."

We heard the intercom come on. "All captains are to report to head captain Yamamoto's quarters immediately." Mayuri then sighed. "I guess we'll have to wait until after the meeting." And we flash-stepped to the head Captain's office. All captains were there and had worried looks on their faces. "What have we been summoned here for, I was in the middle of a training battle." Kenpachi Zaraki said, captain of 11th company, the most aggressive of all the companies. "We have a problem in the world of the living, hollows are appearing at every corner and we need to find out why, everyone but Mayuri and Byakuya may leave.

Everyone left and Yamamoto looked at us. "How long has your problem persisted Byakuya?" My eyes widened. "How did you know?" I asked, anger lacing my voice.

Mayuri's POV:
"How long has your problem persisted Byakuya?"  Yamamoto asked.  Byakuya's eyes widened to the question.  "How did you know?"  He asked, anger and worry lacing his voice.  "Byakuya, I know all that happens in the soul society.  I want to help."  Byakuya widened his eyes even further.  "We'll do all we can to find Rukia, but you need to try and find a wife if we can't find her."  "Understood."  He then looked to me.

"Mayuri, you must help Byakuya in any way possible, that even means experiments.  You'll also help him find a wife.  You're both dismissed."  "Yes sir." We said at the same time and left.  "So, what do you want to do first?"  I asked with curiosity eminent in my voice.  "Try to find a wife, first."  He continued to look forward.  "But by then, you may have been weakened to an unprecedented degree by that hole."  "We'll do an experiment later tomorrow."  And with that, he flash-stepped away.

Nadine's POV:
Today was an ordinary day, I moved to Japan because of my dad's job as a business man and my mom will stay here with me so I can finish high school here. As I was getting ready, I saw another ghost and said hi because it's friendly.

I could see ghosts for as long as I can remember. I've even seen these weird creatures with white masks, it never talked to me though. I went down stairs and mom had my lunch prepared for me. "Here's your lunch Nadine, enjoy school." "Yeah, I will mom, see you later."

As I walked to school, the ghosts just kept coming, but I needed to ignore them. My classmates called me a freak when I was younger, so apparently I'm one of the rare few who can see them. I was saved by a ninja type looking dude one time, but I only saw him once. He had Raven black hair with three pipes in his hair and wore a white cloak with the number six on it. I never did see his whole face, though I wish I could've.

Rukia's POV:
I can't believe that I'm stuck in this stupid gigai again. I wanted to go back one last time and made the excuse that I got really sick. I felt a strong spiritual pressure and looked to Ichigo. He looked back and nodded. "Settle down class, and welcome back miss Kuchiki. I heard that you had quite the time away from school." "I was really sick and couldn't even move on my own." "How unfortunate, at least you're doing better."

I sighed and felt the spiritual pressure coming closer. "Rukia, why did you come back?" Uryu asked me and I shrugged. "I wanted one more day of high school." "Settle down, class, we have a new student in our class. Her name is Nadine Urahara, so I want you to be especially nice to her." "It's nice to meet you all." She bowed and came back up. I couldn't breathe because of the spiritual pressure, it must be her causing all this spiritual pressure to be in the room.

"You can go ahead and have a seat next to Rukia and Ichigo." She walked over to us and sat down. I saw Renji at the window and sent him messages telepathically. 'Renji, what are you doing here!?' 'Byakuya has the whole soul society looking for you. I'm also here to investigate a strong spiritual pressure, A.K.A., your new classmate.' He was right, my new classmate did have that spiritual pressure that suffocated everyone who had spiritual pressure.

'Not to mention, she might be working for Sosuke Aizen and I want to make sure.' 'Yeah, you're right. How's my brother?' 'Not good, I'm afraid, he's been acting strangely.' I thought for a moment and replied. 'I'll come back as soon as school is over.' 'If he kills me, it's on your head.' We broke the connection and Renji left.

Renji's POV:
I went up to the roof and saw the captain there. "Is Rukia in there?" "Yes, and a classmate of hers is very intriguing as of this minute." He was silent for a moment and looked at me. "I may have found a solution to a problem." And with that, we waited for Rukia to be done with school.

I usually fall for the bad guys, but I fell for a good guy this time. It's a bit refreshing. Anyways, VOTE and COMMENT!!!!!
