This made me laugh so hard when I saw it. I'm truly sorry for the lack of updates, but I'm going through almost everything you can imagine...practice for a temple square choir trip, figuring out how to sign up online for a musical, homework, depression. *sigh* anyways, now that that's out of my system, on to the story. Sosuke's POV:
I sighed in slight worry as I paced around the hallway outside of Nadine's room. The nurse is taking an awfully long time with the check-up and my patience is wearing thin. Gin's head followed me as I paced back and forth while he sat on the floor. He had his eyes closed like usual and didn't have his grin on either. He's almost as worried as me, yet hides it slightly better than me right now. I growled lowly and turned to the door, getting ready to draw my zanpakuto when Gin placed a hand on mine. I turned to look at him and his eyes were open slightly. "I wouldn't suggest that, you might hurt your daughter. Just take a deep breath." He said calmly. I took a deep breath and took my hand off my zanpakuto's hilt. The door finally opened, revealing the arrancar that was caring for my daughter. I straightened slightly and she smiled. "She's weak, but able to retain consciousness easily. You can both go in and visit her now." She said and made way for Gin and I. The two of us entered the room and saw Nadine laying down in the bed with Darkrai next to her on a chair.
I smiled at them and Darkrai went back into her subconscious. She smiled weakly and I sat down on the edge of the bed, holding her hand in mine. "Hi Dad, hi Gin." She said. We both smiled at her softly.
"Hello princess, feeling any better?" Gin questioned. She made a motion with her hand, meaning so-so. I stroked her hair gently and she leaned into my touch.
Nadine's POV:
To be honest, I've never seen this gentle side of my Father, but I like it. I leaned into his touch as he stroked my hair. Only seconds later, my door opened once again to show Ulquiorra. He walked over and took my other hand in his. "I came as soon as I heard." He explained. The best part about being his girlfriend is that I get to see all his emotions. It shocks the heck out of my Dad, so that's a bonus.I was going to speak when an explosion far from here. I narrowed my eyes at the spiritual pressures, yet felt like they're my friends. I clutched my head as I felt another headache coming on. Ulquiorra tried to help ease the pain while my Father and Gin exchanged looks with each other. Memories of a man with black hair and slate grey eyes cuddling with me. My eyes widened in realization and I quickly jumped up out of the bed. Ulquiorra tried to force me back in the bed, but I pushed him away. "Nadine, what's wrong?" He questioned me. I growled lowly and his eyes widened in shock.
I pulled out my sword and placed in front of my face. "Scatter Senbonzakura!" I yelled out. He flash-stepped away, giving me the perfect chance to escape. He continued to try and follow me with difficulty as the Sakura petals were in his way. I took a quick left and went through the exit, finding some people I know battling the Espada. I ran out farther and stopped when I saw the black hair with pipe hair pieces in it. "Byakuya!" I screamed out his name. Everyone turned to face me and all the people from the Soul Society smiled at me.
Byakuya's eyes gleamed with happiness for a short time and he flash-stepped to me, wrapping his arms around me in an embrace. "Nadine, I'm so glad you're all right." He said and kissed me passionately. I was shocked, yet kissed back and closed my eyes. We broke apart a few seconds later. "I love you." He told me. I blushed darkly.
"I love you too." I replied shyly. I then felt my Father's spiritual pressure behind me and he grabbed me from Byakuya, flash-stepping a few miles away. He had a hold of my arms behind my back and smirked.
I struggled slightly and Byakuya gripped his hilt tightly. "Sorry Captain Kuchiki, I can't allow you to take her with you to the Soul Society." Father spoke calmly. I continued to struggle and felt my sword dissipate. I looked behind me to see Darkrai's human form behind my Father. He swiftly pulled me free and brought me next to Byakuya.
Captain Kurotsuchi quickly opened a Garganta and all of us exited through it to the world of the living. Byakuya smiled at me and Ichigo smirked. "I suppose we owe you an explanation." Byakuya stated. I nodded slightly and they opened the Senkaimon, bringing all of us through to the Soul Society. We arrived at the squad six barracks and made our way to the captain's meeting room. We entered and I noticed an elderly man sitting in a high backed chair at the far end of the room.
I was led closer to him and all the Captains bowed to him in respect. We all sat down on the floor and the old man smiled kindly at me. "Hello Nadine, my name is Shigekuni Genryusai Yamamoto. I'm pleased to meet you. Now that the pleasantries are out of the way, it's time to explain why you're being fought over by us and your Father. It may take some time, so get comfy." He informed. I placed my head on Byakuya's chest and cuddled up to him with a huge blush. He blushed slightly as well and wrapped his arms around me. I nodded to Genryusai that I was ready and he started.
