Chapter 2:Answers.

Byakuya's POV:
For hours we waited for my sister, and she came in the twilight hours. I stood up and locked eyes with her. "What were you doing at this school again?" I said in my authorative tone. "I wanted one more day of high school-" I pulled her into a hug and felt some of the pain recede. She looked shocked, but embraced me back. I heard Renji pull back to give us some room and I smiled a little.

"Brother, what was this for, not that I don't mind it." I looked at my chest and showed her the hole that shrank slightly. I frowned and looked at Rukia. "Will you introduce me to your new classmate tomorrow?" Her eyes widened at the hole and she looked up into my eyes. "Brother, that's a hollow hole, what happened?" "I'll explain later, first, I need a gigai for tomorrow." I embraced her again and we left for Ichigo's house, where I dropped her off and left for Urahara Shoten.

I knocked on the door and Kisuke opened the door. "Byakuya Kuchiki, what brings you here?" "I need a gigai." He seemed shocked at my words. "What's the reason?" I showed him the hole, told him about it, and what I needed to do. He gladly obliged and got the gigai that I needed. I left after saying thank you, and again, he seemed surprised at my words.

Nadine's POV:
I walked into the class and took my seat next to Ichigo and Rukia. I thought that I'd strike up a conversation, but the teacher came in, quieting the class.

"I want you all to give a special welcome to Byakuya Kuchiki, Rukia's older brother from my understanding. Please, take a seat next to Rukia and Orohime." Byakuya said nothing and took the seat next to Rukia, sending her a small smile. 'He's kind of cute...what am I thinking!? I can't get involved with anyone right now, uncle Kisuke is counting on me, so is Father, and I can't let them down.'

"Now, today we will be reviewing about imaginary numbers, which I hope you all remember from your sophomore year." Byakuya interrupted the teacher. "Forgive me, miss Godwin, I didn't go to school my sophomore year, I had to take care of my sister, what are imaginary numbers?" Miss Godwin looked to Rukia. "Rukia, would you help your brother with the concept?" "Yes ma'am."

Rukia's POV:
"No brother, the I goes after the number. Good, now, multiply it." "How do I do that!?" He said, sounding exasperated. 'This is fun to watch.' "Use your calculator." His head snapped to the side, looking at me with wide eyes. "My what?" "Your calculator." I showed it to him and he took it in hand, turning it in all kinds of directions.He seemed confused by all this information and the teacher came to help us. "Don't worry, Rukia, I'll help him." "Thank you, Miss Godwin."

Later on, we all went to physical education (P.E.) and Byakuya came out with a rather annoyed look on his face. "Rukia, I couldn't change alone, and it's degrading to me." "Byakuya, get used to it if you want to get close to Nadine, how's the hole doing?" He opened his shirt slightly and we saw that it was still there, growing slowly. I looked at Byakuya and took a breath. "Brother, I think Nadine Urahara is related to Sosuke Aizen." He looked at me, eyes widened.

"What makes you so sure?" "Her eyes, they're just like his." Apart from her eyes, they had the same shade of hair. [A/N: keep in mind, this is after he's betrayed the soul society.] He gave me an "are you serious" look and I nodded.

>>Time-skip, dinner time>>

Nadine's POV:
I sat at the dining table with my Mother at the other end and I looked to her. "Mother?" "Yes, Nadine, is there something wrong?" I took a deep breath, looked at Mother, and continued. "I'm not Father's biological child, am I?" Her eyes widened and she dropped her fork, breathing as if someone delivered the final blow to her.

"Why would you ask such a question?" "Because I look nothing like Father." She sighed and looked at me, a solemn look on her face. "Tazuna Urahara is not your father."

"I met a person, known as a soul reaper, named Sosuke Aizen. He was charming and sweet, but he had to leave." "But why, why did he have to leave?" I asked, some tears welling up. "He didn't want to put you in harms way. He also wanted his little girl to stay human, and not be a Quincy or a soul reaper." I looked down sadly, then my head shot up and my eyes widened. "Quincy!? What is that!?" Mom sighed and explained about what Quincies are and a legend about a girl with strong powers born of a Quincy and a soul reaper.

"That child...Is you. Your Father and I stay in touch with telepathic communication and he wants to see you. Tomorrow, when you're at school, ask Rukia about him and she'll give you the answers you want to know."

I sat in my desk, awaiting Rukia's appearance, when I saw Byakuya. I went up to him and took a breath. "Hi Byakuya, I have a question to ask you and Rukia." He looked up at me and stood up, looking into my emerald eyes with his charcoal ones. "What do you want to talk about?" "I'd prefer to wait until Rukia comes so I can talk with you both."

Byakuya's POV:
"I'd prefer to wait until Rukia comes so I can talk with you both." 'Talk with us both? I wonder what she wants to ask us.' My eyes softened a bit while looking at her. "Let us know when you're ready." "Actually, I'm ready now, Rukia just walked through the door." My eyes widened slightly. "How did you know that." I asked, shock eminent in my voice. "Because I can sense her."

We looked back at her and waved. "Rukia, come here." She ran over to us and looked back and forth between us. "Is something going on?" "Nadine has a question to ask us." I answered, hinting that this is serious. "Do you guys know anything about Sosuke Aizen?" She asked with hope and worry in her voice. I had only one thing in my head. 'Oh crap.'

Whew, another chapter done, and not a moment to soon. I have a piano recital coming up and I need to practice almost non-stop for it, so I may not have time for writing. Anyways, VOTE and COMMENT!
