i glanced out of my car window examining the streets of mystic falls for the very first time. i still hadn't got to my house yet but  i had really come to despise that place with it's bright red brick  buildings and green painted metal work and let's not forget it's suspiciously creepy looking people. there was something about this town that just didn't feel right.i swept my fizzy brown hair & tucked it behind my ear then i looked around for the property contract  of the house i was supposed to be staying in. my mother left it to me inside her locket with the letter. though i could almost swear it wasn't there when i opened the locket and saw the letter for the first time. i smiled to myself as i finally saw signs of my house appearing from afar.

i parked my car & stayed inside for a second, the familiar beat of  "Yesterday by the beetles echoing through the headphones and into my ears. "yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away..." i smiled to myself because that was exactly how i felt right now. i opened the trunk of my car & started to place my luggage on the ground. i suddenly became aware of a pair of eyes looking at me and i turned around to see a man with blondish brown hair and a pair of dashing blue eyes-almost as breathtaking at mine-staring at me. i yanked one of my headphones out and stared at the man.

"what do you want?"

"Nothing" he smiled . i could feel the anger boiling up inside of me. i could really tell i hated this dude.he wasn't someone you should talk to. he was the kind of guy who would get you into trouble.

"Then quit staring at me and look somewhere else!" i snapped and put my headphone back into my ear while returning to take out my luggage.the feeling of being watched didn't stop. i tried to ignore it for the first few minutes but i couldn't so i turned around getting ready to give him another taste of my colourful vocabulary.

"Look Mr. ! i don't know what's so amusing about watch-.." i froze mid-sentence. he wasn't there. he had already left. i blinked my eyes once, twice feeling a little dazed. i swear i could feel his presence just a second ago!

ugh! this town is a freak show!...or maybe i was the freak show.. i thought to myself as i walked inside the doors of my new home.

*Next Morning*

i awoke the next day, bright & early. i was never a person to miss a good day by sleeping in. i decided to grab  breakfast from that shop i passed  by yesterday while in my car since i had no food in the house. i got dressed & walked steadily down the Pathway leading into the center of the town. Mornings are the best part of the day in my opinion. there are no vampires apart from the day walkers,Hardly anyone is ever awake and it's so quiet, just the way i liked my life.i reached 'The Mystics grill' as it read on the sign.i pushed open the glass door into the warm, sweet smelling room.i ordered my coffee and seated myself in a table by the window, and started gazing out of it.

suddenly something caught my eye, a man is stood on the opposite side of the road from the shop, looking straight in my direction. i took a closer look at this man and one thing made him stand out. his ice-blue eyes..

"Oh my god!" i said louder than i should have.

"Are you ok,dear?" a woman sitting on a table next to me asked.

i started getting up.

"Yeah,no..it's just,my bus has arrived,i ..i have to go" i trailed off as i ran out the door and down the high street towards the safety of my house.how had he found me? is he a vampire? what does he want from me? i sprinted up the path and ran into the house slamming the door shut behind me. i quickly turned to glance out of the peep hole. Nobody was in sight. i slowly turned and slided down the smooth wood of the door until i was completely seated on the floor. i pushed my head against the wood and closed my eyes taking long, deep breaths, trying to calm myself. Maybe he wasn't looking at me. Maybe he was just looking at the shop, thinking about going in. Or maybe he was one of those dark people that my mother had warned me about.

Eventually i pulled myself off the ground and slowly walked back up to my room. i lay in my bed and tried to get some sleep. but one question kept lingering at the back of my mind, who is this guy?
