'She knew  she was special, but  being this kind of special came with a price. Her sanity.'

"Melody..."

No.

"Melody I need to talk to you..."

I said no.

"But I thought we were friends..."

You will never be my friend.

"But we trust each other Melody..."

I wouldn't trust you if you were the last voice that travelled in the wind.

"That's a shame..well just so you know, I trust you..."

Leave me alone.

"But, Melody you're my best fr-"

I SAID NO!

"Mm-mm..temper temper..."

You know nothing about me.

"Oh but Melody that's where you're wrong..I know EVERYTHING about you.."

Get out of my head.

"Why would I do that when we've grown so close?"

Please just get out.

"But Melody I can teach you how to use your powers.."

Get,

"I just want to be your friend Melody.."

Out,

"You know you want me here.."

Of,

"You don't want to lose your temper again, do you?"

My,

"Melody..."

HEAD!

...

"Ohhh, you didn't want to do that.."

You can't tell me what to do!

"Melody you know you don't want this.."

I can do whatever I want.

"You know that's not real.."

You can't tell me what's real and what's not! You're not even real!

"Oh, but I am. I'm real, Melody and you and I are more alike than you would like to think..."

WE ARE NOTHING ALIKE! YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ME, YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO SO JUST GET OUT OF MY HEAD!

I awoke with a start, breathing heavily, sweat dripping down my forehead and back and tears falling down my cheeks. I shook my head and wiped my cheeks with my hand. This is the third time in a row that this happened to me. This voice doesn't seem to leave me alone for one night. Each time it becomes more responsive and vivid.

I laid on my bed with my eyes wide open for a second, smoothing the white satin sheets with my hand. I sat up on my bed and it took me a minute to notice that my covers had fallen on the floor and my pillows were strewn all across the bed. I took a deep breath and took a minute to straighten out my head, closing my eyes and trying to slow down my racing heart. It was such a hot night and it felt like I had drowned in a puddle of sweat. I desperately needed to cool off. So I dragged myself out of bed, after gracefully tripping over one of my pillows and falling on the floor, head first, and padded my way to the shower.
