The Sorting Hat

The rest of the train ride was filled with silence. I was simply reading to pass the time. It was obvious that nobody wanted to talk. As we neared Hogwarts I changed into my robes. We soon arrived at Hogwarts. I followed this man named Hagrid. We very soon got to the castle and I couldn't help but be in awe it was even more amazing than I could imagine.

I walked up the steps to be greeted by Professor McGonagall. I noticed Angel with Draco standing in front a boy at the front of the crowd. I didn't see what the boy looked like because I was standing behind him. Although I don't have a good feeling about what's going to happen.

"So it's true, Harry Potter really has come to hogwarts." I heard Draco say. Knew it. Something about to happen,

"I'm Draco Malfoy and this Lovely Lady is Angel Bellerose," he said wrapping his arm around Angel's

Draco glared at the redhead standing next to Harry. I'm going to guess that he's a Weasley. "What are you looking at? Red hair, hand-me-down robes, you must be a Weasley."

He looked back at Harry, "I think you'll find that some wizarding families are better than others," he held his hand out for him to take.

"I think I can tell that myself thank you," Harry said glaring at Draco.

Draco put his hand down and glared at him.

Just then McGonagall came up behind them and Angel and Draco went back to their original places.

We went into the great hall and to get sorted.

Before it started Dumbledore gave a speech. He told us that one of the third floor corridors was forbidden.

As I passed the Weasley twins I couldn't help but stare for a little bit.

I saw Angel smirk and quietly said, "oooooh, I see~"

Then Malena and I smacked Angel on the back of the head.

Malena Abbot was first, she got into Ravenclaw.

Then Angel was next I don't think that the sorting hat even touched her head before it shouted "Slytherin!"

Next was Hermione Granger, she was sorted into Gryffindor.

Then Draco Malfoy, Slytherin obviously.

Then it was my turn. I walked up to the chair and as the hat was placed over my head it covered my eyes. I couldn't see anything. I was nervous and I really hoped that I got into Hufflepuff. It sat on my head for a bit thinking before shouting "Hufflepuff!" I got off and joined my brother at the Hufflepuff table.

Potter, Gryffindor

Weasley, Gryffindor. Not surprising the entire family is in Gryffindor.

After we were all sorted the feast began.

As dinner went on I was having a conversation with the Hufflepuffs around me. When I heard a loud screech. I turned towards the sound and noticed that it was Angel that made it

"What the hell Pansy?!" I heard Draco yell, obviously furious.

I didn't quite catch Pansy answer. Their conversation continued until Angel abruptly stood up and ran out of the Great Hall.

"Angel wait!" I heard Draco call out after Angel.

I got up and went to go and follow her to make sure that everything was okay. I saw Malena get up as well and follow. The two of us went to go look for Angel. We got to Angel and I tapped on Angel's shoulder. she looks up at us.

"Are you ok?" Malena asked followed by me asking, "What happened?"

"Pansy's what happened," Angel said bitterly.
