Anger and Sadness

-Jades POV-

I awaken to the boppy ringtone of a phone,

"My god, shut it off!" I groan. Wait that's mine. I jump out of bed and swipe to answer, "hello?"

"Hi is this Jade Batin?" The lady on the other end asks,

"Yes?"

"This is the Royal Melbourne hospital. We're sorry to inform you but Evan passed away during the night." My whole world stops in that instant. I put my phone down and feel my stomach churning and my body is a hot ball of energy. I can't control myself from anything. I'm so numb. Then everything goes black. And I awaken.

I feel the wetness of my face and burst into tears. I don't recognise my surroundings and start to panic. The anxiety fills me and then I feel a movement beside me and let out an ear piercing scream and leap out of bed,

"What?! Jade, are you okay?!" A sleepy Jake pops up very disorientated. Shit. How? What?

"How come I was in bed with you?" I ask angry and confused,

"Hey calm down. You were scared and alone. You wanted me to sleep with you,"

"I SLEPT WITH YOU?!" I scream even more outraged,

"Wait? NO NO NOOOO! Not like that! Geezus Jade I'm not like that." He runs his hand through his hair and looks at me again, "I'm sorry." That's when my phone starts up. The dream automatically flickers in my mind. I cautiously pick it up,

"Hello?" I shakily say,

"Jade! Come quick! He's woken up!" Cooper yells into the phone,

"We're on our way!" I pull on some tracksuit pants I find and a jumper and my converse,

"Hurry up lets go!" I yell at Jake. He jumps out of bed and slides on some clothes and we're out the door. I don't care if he speeds. As long as I get to my man as quick as I can. We run through the hospital as fast as we can and I burst into Evans room and see him. And people. Lots of people. I barge past them all and he sees me,
"Evan!" I burst into tears of happiness. I go to wrap my arms around him and I feel my body pulled back and a sharp pain in my head. I fall to the ground and try to orientate myself again. Evan bolts up and Cooper runs to help me up,

"Bitch!" I hear a girl scream. What the f*ck? I turn and see a blonde barbie with rage in her eyes ready to attack me,

"Stacey, calm the f*ck down!" Cooper says to her. Who is this chick and what did I do to her? Why is SHE in Evans room? I feel someone grab my wrist and I'm pulled out of the room before I can talk back. I glare at Evan and he gives me a really guilty look. Why?

"Hey are you alright?" Jake says, but before I can reply Cooper appears and looks at me kinda not knowing what to say,

"Yeah so you met Evans ex... Who thinks she's still with him. Kind of like a stalker." That was it. I was overtaken by something else. An urge to kill. Not really but I did walk back into that room. It was like in slow motion. I pushed past the people again. To get to MY boyfriend. Then I saw her on him. He wasn't resisting. Maybe he was too weak. I'll give him some help. I yank her by her top and pull her off the bed onto the ground. As her head collides with the ground it makes a loud, satisfying crunch. Not good actually when you're in a room full of paparazzi people,

"How dare you think you can have him, JUST like that!" I say harshly and very directly at her. She gets up even more raged. The bitch fight begins.

-Evans POV-

What has just happened? I apparently have woken up today. Not to Jade but in a hospital bed with people all around me like I've died. I remember defending myself from someone. I don't know who. Now my girlfriend is fighting my ex who thinks she can come back and claim me? I watch as they attack each other. I build up a strength and push aside the pain. My foot hits the ground and I feel a rage in my gut,

"STOP!" I yell, "both of you! Everyone get out now!" I wave my arms to shoo everyone away. They make their way out with the help of Cooper and Jake. I'm sick to death of the people. I'm sick of everyone. I just need Jade. I feel the pain in my wound in my stomach and get back to my bed. Jade pushes Stacey off her and runs to help me. I grab her. Oh my gorgeous girl,

"I've missed you," she whispers and then bursts into tears. Then I feel her whole body jolt as Stacey's fist connects with her head. I'm so done. I place Jade on the bed and stand up fighting the pain and fatigue, "I said get out," I say harshly. She grins like a Cheshire Cat and Cooper comes and helps her getting out,

"I'll be back, Evan." She leaves and I go weak. Jade helps me back. I look at her. As she looks at me. A different look from her I've seen before. It's a sadness. But she's sad because of me. I've messed up again,

"I think it's best I go," she says quietly,

"No, please don't leave me," I can't let her go. She's all I want and need. She gets up and walks out,

"I can't do this anymore. I'm sorry," my whole body goes limp. I burst into tears,

"No, Jade, no don't do this," I watch her walk out. I've just lost everything.
