The night summer air is warm, blowing through my curls and the end of my dress since it is longer in the back and shorter in the front. I am wearing a dress with a black top and green bottom that is longer in back and shorter in front, a gray belt, a long heart shaped necklace, and gray sparkly heels. Ella stands besides me wearing a black strapless dress with ruffles on the bottom and a pink bow, pink high heels, and her brown hair with blonde tips curled as well. Jake and his friend stand outside the entrance of the party, waiting for us to hurry up.
"Come on, Alex!" Ella whines. "I don't want to be late!"
"Oh my gosh, the party doesn't start until five minutes! Do you expect me to run in these heels?" I ask. Ella breaks into laughter as I start to catch up to her.
"I hope you can," she laughs.
"I kind of don't want to go," I begin to complain, slightly slouching over.
"Why? It's going to be fun. Just go for the experience, not the people." Jake says and I nod, standing straight and tall once again as I suck it up and bravely walk in through the doors.
Teenagers fill the entire room, dancing with each other; grinding and throwing their hair everywhere. We squeeze through the crowd, always bumping into someone and receiving dirty looks because of us. Some have drinks in their hand and instead of actually finish it, all they do is dance wildly so it drops onto the ground. I am careful not to step on people's feet so I grab onto Jake's arm, Ella right behind me and doing the same. We finally make our way to the bar and I let out a deep breath.
"They almost ate us alive," Justin exaggerates and we laugh.
"Come on, I'll pay. What do you guys want?" Jake asks, taking out cash from his pocket and nodding his head towards the bar.
"Whatever," we reply and they just give it to us after Jake pays.
"Lets go dance," I say to Ella and she nods, the both of us taking our drinks.
We begin to move to the music, our hips going along with the beat as it fills the entire room. The floor shakes as the music plays and everyone continues to dance, shoulders touching random people. I am cautious not to spill my drink on anyone as they bump into me. Ella tells me something but because it is so loud I can't hear her. All I see is her lips moving in the darkness as she tries to yell but that doesn't make a difference.
"What?" I yell close to her ear.
"Look who's here!" She yells back in mine then points towards the doorway. My head turns in that direction and I see Niall, Louis, Liam, Zayn, and Harry surrounding Ashley as she grins widely.
I roll my eyes.
"Who cares!" I yell in her ear once more. "Just act like they aren't here!"
Ella smirks. She can't do that. Ella has liked Zayn for a while now, and it has taken them a while but they are always flirting whenever they get the chance to. She looks at him then smiles when he looks back and he does the same. I turn my head, holding back a laugh as he walks towards her and plants a kiss on her cheek.
"Hey Alex," Zayn says.
"Hey," I reply over the loud music. Ella's cheek turn red as he grabs her hand and intertwines his fingers with hers.
"Am I missing something here?" I ask with a smile, slightly confused by his actions. They just look at each other and soon I feel someone kiss my cheek as well. Startled, I turn around, only to be greeted by a pair of green eyes.
"Hey," Harry says with a smile but I just roll my eyes.
"Lets dance," Niall tells Ella. She looks at me and I nod, inside wishing she wouldn't leave me, and then I am left alone with Harry in a giant crowd, surrounded by people. I jump when someone touches my back but when I turn around no one is facing me.
Harry grabs my waist and pulls me towards him so that our bodies crash together. I gasp at his sudden movement and he laughs, bending down and planting a kiss near my jaw. 'What is he doing?' I think to myself. His kisses begin to lower down to my neck and my eyes shut.
"You know absolutely nothing about me," I say low, taking a step back as the musics volume is lowered.
"I know I don't but I wish I did," Harry says, stepping closer. His eyes rake my face as though he is searching for something. I feel my chest tighten, not knowing what he is doing, but then it goes away when I hear laughter surround me.
"I'm glad you don't," I say cooly and he smirks.
"You look really hot," he comments, his deep voice sending shivers down my spine as he looks down, taking advantage of the view he has since I am a couple inches shorter.
"And you look like an idiot looking at me like that," I say.
He smirks, bending back down and pressing a trail of kisses the same way as before. I bite my lower lip, holding back the urge to slap him across the face. His long fingers wrap around my chin, turning my head back to face him and he looks at my lips. My teeth release my lip and he presses a kiss dangerously near my lips. I stiffen as my muscles tighten by his warm touch. His lips linger on my skin, making me weak to my knees. I grab his arms to keep balance myself and he smiles.
"You know, we can get out of here if you want." Harry whispers seductively against my ear, lips brushing against the skin which makes me shiver.
I am tempted to tell him to take me, but I stop myself before I can even open my mouth. I will NOT give him the satisfaction that he wants. My eyes search his face, taking in everything I can see right now: pink, full lips; long, dark lashes; tanned, soft skin; blazing green orbs; brown, curly hair. It seems to me that everything about him is completely and utterly perfect. How is it possible that someone like him could be standing right in front of me, placing delicate kisses on my skin? I'm just a normal, regular girl compared to someone like Ashley. She has everything; the beauty, the boys, the wealth, anything a girl could ever want.
"You shouldn't be seen with me," I remind him.
"Why?" He slightly smiles, taking a step closer to me.
"Wouldn't want to ruin your reputation now, would we? Plus, I think your 'date' is waiting for you." I smirk, holding back a smile. He turns his head and sees Ashley staring at us with pure jealous in those dark orbs of hers.
"She is not my date," Harry says, looking down at me as he wets his lips. I bring my lip between my teeth again, trying to not laugh.
"Whatever you say, Styles." I smile, walking away from him as the music is played again. Harry's gaze does not leave me until I am out of his sight and when I am, I let out a sigh.
