The next morning, I wake up to the sun shining brightly through my window as my phone which lays on the bedside table rings. I groan, not wanting to wake up but the vibrations never stop. What could possibly be going on that is causing so many calls and texts? All that happened last night was that party where people just made out and danced with each other. Not only that, but I got into an argument with my parents about Harry. I don't know why but I can't get that argument out of my head. My dads angry facial expression is engraved into my mind along with the words he said to me.
"He's nineteen and knows more than you. He can easily brainwash you and make you do whatever he want." He said.
"Okay, Dad." I rolled my eyes. "I'm not stupid enough to get pregnant at seventeen. And especially not with him."
"I don't want you to talk to him, I don't want you to hang out with him, I don't want you near him." My dad said, pointing a finger at me.
What did he mean by he can easily brainwash me? Does he actually believe that I'm am desperate enough to loose my virginity that I will do it with anyone? If that's the answer, I would be laughing nonstop.
My phone vibrates again and I groan. Before I go to bed, I really need to make sure that I turn my phone off or put it on silence.
"Hello?"
"What happened last night?" Ella asks from the other side of the line.
"I could ask you the same question," I laugh, sitting up and running my fingers through my hair.
"Oh, yeah.." She nervously laughs.
"Did something happen that I should know?"
"Nothing happened," Ella quickly replies.
"Are you sure?"
"Positive,"
Normally when Ella says that, even through the phone, you can hear the smile in her voice. This time, I heard nothing like that. It sounded plain and with nervousness. What is she hiding from me?
"Is your dad home?" Ella asks.
"No, he starts at seven. My mom probably left too." I reply, falling back in bed.
"Can I come over later on?" Ella asks. "Maybe around three?"
I look to the clock on my bed stand. It is 11:29.
"Umm, yeah. Sure," I say as I cover my eyes with the back of my palm.
"Alright, see you then."
"Bye,"
Getting up, I brush my teeth and do whatever I need to do. Right when I finish, the doorbell rings.
"Kyle! Can you get it!" I yell.
No response. Am I all alone?
I practically run down the stairs as the doorbell is rung multiple times.
"I'm going!" I yell, my bare feet sprinting to the door.
Opening it, I see a smiling Harry standing by himself with no one surrounding him. Oh god. His eyes trail down my body and I suddenly realize that I am wearing a tank top with short shorts as my pajamas. Shit. Out of all the days I wear this instead of long sleeves?
"What are you doing here?" I ask.
"To see you of course," Harry chuckles, leaning in to kiss my cheek but I move so that all his lips feel is air.
"You really need to leave," I tell him and he closes the door behind him.
"Why?" His body steps close to mine and he bows his head, curls falling forward.
I cross my arms across my chest and say, "I don't need to explain myself." Harry smirks, bringing his hand up and cupping my cheek. His lips approach mine and the speed of my heart beat increases rapidly.
Someone knocks and I jump, glad that someone interrupted. I open it and see the rest of the boys.
"Did we interrupt something?" Louis asks with a smile.
"No," I reply.
"Yes," Harry mumbles.
The four of them give of odd looks, knowing that something was about to happen even if it didn't. I pinch my lips together as Harry looks around biting his lower lip. When I release my lips, my eyes meet Louis who raises his eyebrows with a smile at Harry and I.
I laugh.
"Where's Caleb?" Louis asks.
"With his fiancée doing some last minute arrangements before the wedding," I reply. In about a month, Caleb is going to get married. Him and his fiancée were engaged for almost a year now, and they are both excited to start a new chapter in their life's. Not only that, but I'm finally going to graduate from high school and my birthday is coming up.
"We should probably get going," Liam suggests, beginning to walk out the front door.
"Sorry, I'll text Louis when he's back." I apologize. They wave goodbye and then leave me alone again.
After shutting the door, I turn around and see Harry standing there.
"You aren't suppose to be here," I tell him.
"Why?" Harry asks as I make my way up the staircase.
"I have other things to do, Harry. I'm not your babysitter,"
Right when I reach the top, I feel something brush against my skin on my wrist before having my body crash into the wall. Harry's lips find a spot near my jaw with his lips and lightly kisses it, making me shut my eyes as I wish he stopped. Without thinking, I bring my hand up and grab his neck, lightly pulling his curls.
"Stop," I firmly whisper.
Reluctantly, his lips leave my skin and I let out a shaky sigh.
"Please," I whisper. "You have to leave."
"Give me a reason why," Harry responds, his eyes never leaving my face.
"I'm not allowed to be with you," I let out, shutting my eyes as I take in a deep breath.
"That isn't going to change anything," Harry chuckles.
"My dad is a cop, Harry. He has more power than you,"
"Your father cannot tell me who I can and can't -"
The doorbell rings, cutting him off, and we stop talking. Biting my lip, I run back down and open it, Ella standing there, picking at the ends of her hair.
"Hey," Ella smiles, looking up and dropping her hair.
"Hey," I laugh as she struts into my house.
"Oh," Ella says when she sees Harry walk down the staircase. "Did I interrupt something?"
"No, actually Harry was just about to leave." I smile, giving him a look. He smirks before saying goodbye then walking out the front door.
"Where's everyone else?" Ella asks.
"They all left before you came," I reply.
"Oh," she says disappointedly. "So... What happened with you and Harry last night?" Ella smiles at me evilly, knowing something actually DID happen.
"Nothing," I laugh. She gives me a look and I roll my eyes, explaining every little detail to her. When I finish, her jaw is dropped to the ground and she stares at me in shock.
"Damn, you make him sound hot." Ella admits.
"Ella! You know I can't stand him," I sigh.
"Mmhhmm," she lifts her eyebrow before walking towards the kitchen.
