When I finally wake up my eyes search the room, not sure where I am. A blanket is on top of me and my head rests on a white, soft pillow. Sitting up, I still do not know where I am. Taking the covers off, I walk around the room and see pictures. I lift one up on the bed stand and see that in the picture there are two girls with brown hair and a boy with brown curly hair. He looks familiar. I open my eyes in amazement when I realize that it's a younger Harry. He still looks as attractive as he looked when he took this picture, I'm not going to lie. Who are the other two girls in the picture? They look nothing like him. Maybe the younger one is a cousin or something. A door opens from within the room and I jump at the sudden sound.
"You're up," Harry smiles from behind me. I turn around and let out a nervous giggle, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear as I look down at the ground. When I look back up I notice that he only has a towel wrapped around his waist, his torso naked besides the paper plane pendant resting on his firm chest. My gaze lingers on his torso, taking in the muscles and the v-lines that are cut off by his towel.
"How did I get here?" I ask. Slowly, he begins to walk towards me and my gaze travels back up his body. When he stands in front of me, his hand touches my cheek as he looks me deeply into my eyes. His damp curls hang down his forehead, slightly covering his eye. Bringing my hand up, I run my fingers through his ringlets as I push them back so I can see his beautiful face.
"You crashed pretty hard," Harry smiles, thumb lightly brushing over my cheekbone. I feel myself blush with embarrassment.
"Sorry," I mumble, looking down at my feet. I hear Harry chuckle, tilting my chin up to him. His eyes stay glued to my lips, making my insides twist. Suddenly, a loud ringing sound fills the room, making us jump.
"That's yours," Harry chuckles and I feel myself blush again.
"Hello?" I answer.
"Alex, you need to get home. Dad is pissed right now." Kyle says from the other side of the line.
"Why?"
"You haven't been home since yesterday," he replies. My head snaps up, looking out the window and seeing the bright sun rising into the air.
"Shit," I curse. "I'll be there in like ten minutes. Tell Dad that I'm at Ella's." I hate lying to him, I honestly do, but I have no choice. What would he say if he found out that I was with Harry?
We hang up and I turn back to Harry who is looking at me.
"Ummm.. Are we the only ones here?" I ask.
"Yeah, why?"
"I have to go,"
"Alex, what's going on?" Harry asks confused, now wearing jeans and a black shirt.
"My dad is going to kill me," I say, slipping my shoes on.
"Do you need a ride or -"
I press a kiss to his cheek then run out his bedroom door.
"Alex, wait up!" Harry shouts out behind me, running down the stairs. Something grips my wrist then tugs me towards them.
"Harry, I have to -"
"Let me at least drive you -"
"No, you don't understand! You can't, just... I'll walk it." I interrupt.
"That's going to take longer, just let me take you." He tells me.
"No -"
"Stop being so hardheaded, just come on." He whines. My hand lightly grabs his, quickly letting go as I run out the door. I know that even if Harry chases after me, he has a high chance of catching up to me because his legs are much longer than mine.
I begin to run down, feeling fear rise within me. How could I have been stupid enough to not wake up? Why didn't he just drop me off? A car drives besides me and my pace slightly slows down a bit, looking at who it is. Harry sits in the drivers seat, looking at me. I roll my eyes, running faster again. Although I know I have no chance racing with a car, I just run. If my parents find out about who I was with, they will ground me forever. The good thing about this is that I know I won't wear out as easily since I play sports and run track. Running as fast as I can, it feels like my feet are lifted off the ground and making this easier than I thought it'd be. Out of nowhere, tears begin to stream down my face and I stop running.
"Alex!" I hear Harry shout. I look back up from wiping my tears and see a car coming directly into my direction. I gasp, watching as it comes closer until I am pushed out of the way. Landing on the pavement, a hand cups the back of my head and the other stays on my waist.
"Are you okay?" The British boy asks. My eyes open and I see concern wash over those green orbs of his. Tears stream down my face again and my hands tremble.
"Don't cry," Harry whispers soothingly, pulling me close to his warm body that hovers above mine. "Don't cry." My hand grips onto his shirt, my free hand grabbing his nape.
He saved me. Harry Styles saved me.
