When I enter school, I go straight to my locker as I am greeted with smiles. I enter my locker combination then open it to get the things I need. Once I get everything, I shut my locker and hold my books near my side. Someone shouts my name and I turn around, only to bump into something hard. My books fall to the floor and I deeply let out a sigh as I run my fingers through my long brown hair.

"Sorry about that," someone says and that's when I realize that I didn't bump into something but rather someone. He begins to help me pick up my books and I look up, a pair of green sparkling eyes meeting mine. He hands me my books then stands up, out stretching his hand to me.

"You should really watch where your going," he says with a smile as he pulls me up.

I open my mouth to say something but nothing comes out. Right when I'm about to say something, the sound of screaming girls fills my ears. I walk away from all of them and when I turn back it looks like them swallowed him whole. Laughing, I shake my head and walk to class where I see my best friend Ella talking with some of our friends.

"Hey," I say with a smile and they return it.

"Hey," they reply. I take a seat and Ella turns to me.

"Did you see who's here?" Ella asks with a wide grin on her face.

I roll my eyes. "Yeah."

"What's he doing here?" She asks.

"I have no clue but I hope he leaves soon. He really irritates me," I say and she laughs.

The sound of talking girls begins to fill the room, followed with girly giggles and laughs. I look up and then see him standing there with his four other friends, surrounded by twenty girls. His eyes meet mine and he sends me a small smile which makes me look away with complete annoyance. Even though he has been coming to my school for a while now, girls are still all over him while the rest of us couldn't care any less about his presence here.

"Class, take your seats. I have one brief announcement," my teacher, Ms. Peterson, says.

The people who don't care quickly take their seats but those who do take forever, making flirty eyes at them and smiling with complete happiness. The boys smile back and I want to laugh because I feel sorry for those girls. They are just smiling back to be polite. Louis shots me a smile and I send one back, the both of us receiving a glare from Harry.

"Someone's jealous," Ella mumbles besides me and we laugh.

"Quiet down now," Ms. Peterson says over the annoying girls. The boys look at them as though they are "disgusted" but in reality they are jealous that they have never received that kind of attention from them.

"Okay, so today as you all know is Ashley's birthday." Ms. Peterson says and all her friends begin to clap. "As a birthday present, her father hired the boy band most of you might be familiar with: One Direction." She lifts her eyebrows up as if she doesn't care and a small laugh escapes our throats.

"They will be here the entire day but that doesn't mean you can just blow off all your school work and drool over them. If it becomes a problem, they will be forced to leave no matter how much her father pays." She adds and the girls roll their eyes. "So boys, go ahead and introduce yourselves."

"Well, I'm Harry," says the curly haired boy with green eyes.

"I'm Louis," says the one with brown hair and blue eyes.

"I'm Zayn," says the one with dark hair and hazel eyes.

"I'm Liam," says the one with brown hair and brown eyes.

"I'm Niall," says the one with blonde hair and blue eyes.

"And we're One Direction," they say all together. All the girls squeal while the rest of us just laugh.

"Alright, that's enough. You may take your seats," Ms. Peterson says and they nod, walking towards their seats besides Ashley. Ella slightly nudges me in my side and gives me a smirk.

"Who cares, they are on the other side of the room." I say and we look at them. It hasn't even been five minutes and Ashley is already all over ever single one of them.

Since it is chemistry, I sit besides my friend Molly as we begin to take notes for an experiment we will be doing. Whispers are heard loud even though they are meant to be low. Ms. Peterson turns around shots a cold glare in their direction, fed up with all their talking.

"Alright, that's enough. You've been interrupting my class for ten minutes and I won't allow it. Boys, move to the last table and stay quiet." Ms. Peterson says and Ashely frowns as they get up.

"Wait, did she say the back?" I ask Molly and she nods.

Shit. Why do we always get assigned the back? They sit behind us and I feel someone poke my sides and I immediately sit up straight, surprised by the random touch. I turn back at them and see it was Niall and I smile at him. I have no problem with Niall, Liam, nor Louis. It's mostly just Zayn and Harry. They have always tried flirting with me since the first day we met but I always just try my best to ignore them after hearing multiple lectures about how much "trouble" they were.

As we begin to mix different things together, Molly has to use the washroom so she leaves and I am there alone, slowly pouring liquids into the beaker. Once again, someone touches my side and I jump, the liquid falling onto the table.

"Alex, please clean that up." Ms. Peterson says and I nod.

"Harry," I say, looking at him then back at the now spilled liquid.

"What?" He asks with a smile, holding back a laugh.

"You jerk," I say, shoving his chest so he laughs.

"Why do I get shoved but Niall gets a smile?" He asks.

"Because Niall isn't annoying," I reply and the boys 'oohhh.'

"Well," Harry begins. "Two can play that game." He walks away as I clean the table and I feel relieved.

"Need help?" Liam offers, walking toward me with a napkin in his hand.

"Thanks," I smile at him and he returns it.

During lunch, I sit with a group of my friends at our table as we talk and laugh while eating. Annoying, loud laughter fills my ears and I turn around to see who it is, only to see Ashley running her fingers through Harry's hair as he stares at her lovingly. Something rises from within me and I force myself to look away. I've known all the boys for almost a month, but I've known Louis since I was little. He was best friends with my older brother throughout their entire time in school and he's never been a jerk to me. He has always treated me like a little sister and has always been there for me even when he became famous.

Niall's eyes meet mine and he smirks like he wants to leave. Who could blame him? Ashley and her gang are the most annoying girls in our entire school. Thankfully since I'm a senior, I won't have to deal with her in a few months. I turn back around to my friends and a few minutes later I feel a hand on my shoulder then someone sitting besides me. When I turn my head to the side, I see Louis next to me and Liam and Niall besides him.

"What's wrong?" I ask, hearing Louis sigh loud.

"All they do is flirt," Louis says, looking in Harry and Ashely's direction. "It's really annoying."

"Why don't you talk to him about that? You guys are best friends," I say, my arms crossed in front of my chest.

Louis smirks, shrugging his shoulder as he places his hands in front of him. The bell rings and everyone groans, not wanting to walk to class and stay quiet for another two whole hours. I get up and fix the back of my shirt before I feel a shoulder brush past mine.

"Jealous?" Harry asks with a smile on his face as he looks down at me.

"Of what? An ugly girl being gross and all on you? Of course not," I say with a laugh and his smile disappears. His eyes look at me seriously while I walk away so I won't look at him.
