About four hours pass by, dancing and drinking. Thankfully we have no school tomorrow or we would all go with a hangover. Girls are being pushed roughly against the walls of room as they make out with random guys or their boyfriends. I can't help but feel like such a complete oddball, walking out the washroom and just looking and seeing them everywhere. Looking for my friends, I seem to find them no where and I run my fingers through my hair with frustration, the humidity getting to me.
"Hey," I hear someone whisper in my ear making me jump. Before I am given the opportunity to turn around, the front of their body presses against my back and I stiffen as they slowly pull me back into the crowd. Their hands stay on my hips, slowly moving them with the beat of the music and I laugh.
"You know," I begin, grabbing the back of their nape as I pull them down. "I can do it myself." A chuckle is released against my ear, hair tickling the side of my cheek. Who am I dancing with?
They begin to move their hips along with mine as well and I let my fingers run through their hair. They slip into what I make out as short, soft curls and I feel my chest tighten as I realize who it is. My hand slides off his nape and I quickly turn around to catch him by surprise. He towers over me, smiling and wetting his lips.
"Harry, leave me alone." I tell him. His hand touches the side of my cheek and I feel warmth spread throughout my body just by one touch. My gaze slowly moves down to his lips and it is like they are glued there, unable to look at anything else but that. His hand that is placed on my cheek slides down to the side of my waist and I bring my hand back up to his nape, pulling him down.
"You really want to kiss me, don't you?" Harry chuckles. Heat rises into my cheeks but he adds, "Don't worry, I wouldn't blame you." Wow, what a way to ruin the moment. I let go and he gives me a confused look.
What the hell was that? I thought I wasn't going to give him the satisfaction that he wanted! Gosh I'm so stupid. Walking away, I try to look for my friends but they still are no where to be found.
"Need a ride?" Harry asks from behind me and I jump from his sudden question.
"Not from you," I spit back. He smirks, dimples popping out his left cheek.
"Come on, I'll take you home." Harry offers.
"I'd rather walk it," I say, pushing through the doors out of the party. I begin to walk, my heels making a click noise on the pavement. A hand wraps around my wrist, pulling me towards them so that I crash into their hard, toned chest.
"No,"
His lips are centimeters away from mine, our breath fanning each others lips.
"Fine, but don't ever do that again." I whisper, making him smile.
"Can't promise," Harry says back.
On the way to my house, I sit with my hands on my lap as I pick at my dress. Harry's eyes move from the road to me but I avoid his gaze. The windows are up and it is dark out, the only light shining is his headlights. He reaches out and turns on the radio and Stay by Rihanna is on. Mentally, I sing along to the lyrics and when it ends, a completely different song is played.
"Hey girl, I'm waitin' on ya, I'm waitin' on ya
Come on and let me sneak you out
And have a celebration, a celebration
The music up, the window's down
Yeah, we'll be doing what we do
Just pretending that we're cool -"
"Ugh, turn this off." I complain, changing the station.
"Hey!" Harry whines, flipping the station back.
