I didn't see Harry for another couple of weeks after that. Though thoughts of him failed to evade me as he was constantly in my head. The way his plump lips moved slowly around each word as he talked. The way they stretched into the little smirk that crossed his face when I got embarrassed. And, of course, his bright green eyes.
Though I wouldn't admit why, green had mysteriously worked its way up to being my favourite colour. Like when Zayn took me shopping, for the first time in years, I asked him to pick out green instead of grey.
He had no idea why, but was happy because I seemed brighter. I spoke to him more as well, sharing my general thoughts and wonderings of the day with him over dinner. It was something I had never really done before, usually keeping to myself.
He asked me more questions too, about how my day was and what I did. To be honest I think it was more to try and keep up my finally non-depressed state, than out of interest. Either way it was nice that we conversed more.
He also asked me about Harry. I had told him about our meeting on the train, but not about where my new-found love of green came from.
He seemed to accept it though, like I was a fragile object that he had got in just the right place so it wouldn't break, but, one wrong move and I was shattering on the floor.
I went out more, and lied to myself that I didn't hope to find Harry. Whether it was shopping, or just a walk, I was out each day, basking in the non-existent London sun with everyone else. Regardless of Harry's part in the whole thing, things were looking much brighter.
