AVAN’S POV

“Avan, are you my Mr. Cinderella?” she questioned. Her face was indeed serious. Her question made me all nervous. I really wanted to tell her. HELL! Scream it to the whole campus the truth but there’s this little part of me telling me that it’s not yet time. I don’t really know what’s happening to me right now. Before, all I wanted to happen was for her to find me right away and now.. I don’t know, I really don’t.

“W-what? Where did you get that idea?” I stuttered as I took a step backward and released all the stiffness in my body for me not to be obvious. She still hasn’t broken her gaze at me and I can totally tell that she’s not satisfied with my answer.

“You didn’t answer my question, Avan.” She insisted. God! I hate seeing her like this, it makes me all weak but I have to stay strong.

“C’mon Sab! What’s with him that you can’t get enough off?”

“w-what?! What are you talking about?! Just answer my question” she questioned slightly raising her voice. I can already see tears forming in her beautiful brown eyes, tears that are about to fall anytime.

“I mean, why are you wasting your time for someone who doesn’t have balls to show himself and you don’t even know him” I argued. I know I’m being quite unfair to her but I think I have a valid reason for all of this. I guess?

“I do know him.” a tear fell down on her cheeks as she quickly wiped it off.

“Oyea?” I paused “then why are you asking me right now if I’m him?”

She didn’t answer instead she gave me one of those what-do-you-mean looks. I took a deep breath before answering “If you really know him, you wouldn’t be asking me right now, If you really know him you’ll just pinpoint who the hell is he. Clearly, you still don’t know him.” my voice was indeed stern. I’m sorry Sabrina, I really am. It pains me to see you like this but I just can’t afford to do it all again. Besides my sanity, I have nothing more to lose if it happens again.

Silence covered the whole room. The only thing you can hear is, us, catching our breaths from all the shouting. We were looking deeply in each other’s eyes and I can see hurt, disappointment, irritation from hers.

BAAAAM!

Someone opened the door harshly surprising us both. I turned around and saw a girl who’s about a little shorter than I am but taller than Sabrina. She has this black hair that falls to her back, a sexy figure—not that I’m checking her out, just for the description and a slim body.

“Amm..” her voice was a little strain “Am I interrupting something?” she finished as she walked slowly inside the room making us all act like nothing happened.

I glanced at Sabrina and I saw her took a deep breath before I looked back at the girl. “No Maricel, everything’s fine” Sabrina paused thinking of the right words “Were just ammm, talking.” She finished.

“Ow I see.” Was the only words Maricel replied.

“What do you need?” Sabrina asked as she walked over to her table at the side.  The girl made her way to a table with an office sign Maricel Atuel- Auditor. Okay, then she’s one of the council, I never noticed her well maybe because I’m not an active student when it comes to knowing the council members.
