"So... have you chosen a dress for prom already Sab?" Mandy inquired while we were eatiing at ihop.

Who would've thought that the saying "time flies when you're enjoying it" was true. It's been couple of months since I found out that Avan was my Cinderella and after our whole compromise thing, everything was beyond perfect. Well, almost. I will not lie, Avan and I got into a few fights but nothing led to serious damage in our relationship. We always find a way to fix it and it obviously stregthens our relationship. As for Mandy and Matt, well they're still together and walk around like love sick puppies. Logan on the other hand is still the same, different girls every week. And as for James, well he apologized for the nth time and of course I'm not that cruel, I forgave him but i told him that I tsill didn't want to talk or be his friend anymore. Although he disagrees with the idea, he respected my decision later on.

"Earth to Sab!" Mandy called distarcting me from my memory lane thoughts.

"I'm sorry what did you say?" I asked as i take a sip of my coffee

"I said, have you picked out a dress for prom yet?"

And there it was, the event that's making me restless for days.

"Not yet." I simply answered trying to avoid the whole Mandy inquisition.

"What?! Why?! Prom is in two days." Yea, like I'm not aware of that. I told myself as I mentally rolled my eyes.

"Well, I haven't gotten a dress because I'm not going which leads me to the main reason; I'm not fond of proms."

"Oh don't give me that crap Sab! Wy aren't you really going? How will Avan feel about that?" Mandy's voice was raising.

"Yea, as if he cares. He doesn't even care about prom either or maybe the fact that his girlfriend is really excited about coming but he never asked her and may she   repeat, prom is in two days." I said bitterly. I've been waiting for him to ask me for a week already, I even tried bringing up the subject about corsages and ties but he keeps on brushing the topic off. If that doesn't mean he doesn't want to go, I don't know what it is.

"Oh my God Sab! Did Avan told you that?"

"No" i plainly said. Okay, maybe I'm putting words to his mouth but still you cannot deny the fact that he hasn't asked me yet.

"Listen Sab, you still have tomorrow. I'm sure Avan will ask you. Maybe he's planning out something grand right?" Okay. Maybe Mandy has a point but knowing Avan, if he wants to ask me something, like as simple as "Will you go to the prom with me?" , he will ask it immidiatley.

"What if he doesn't ask me at all?" there I said. The question that I have been dreading for a week now.

"Then you and me will go together."

"What about Matt?"

"He will understand. Besides, he has Logan."

I released whatever breath I was holding a sunk into my seat deeper.

"Oh c'mon Sab! Stop the whining. Let's go." she then stood up and waited for me to do the same.

"Where are we going?" I asked still not in the mood.

"We're going to find you the perfect dress." Mandy then pullled my hand and started walking towards the door.
