AVAN’S POV
Waking up early was never hard for me. Sometimes living alone can teach you a lot of things like being responsible on waking up yourself.
I took a shower and after that I’ve decided to wear a simple jeans and a button up shirt. Then I left the house, skipping my breakfast. As much as I wanted to eat, I was too lazy to cook for myself and besides I have things to do so I just hopped in my car and drove off.
Before I go to school, I went to the flower shop first and bought seven white roses.
Last night, after I dropped Matt at his place, I then, went home as well. I was laying on my bed when I suddenly thought of Sabrina and how my tongue slipped when I called her princess. I saw curiosity and eagerness in her face. Then, all of a sudden a thought entered in my mind and that’s the reason why I’m here at the flower shop.
After buying the roses I drove headed to school. I intentionally came here early so I’ll have time to set up everything…. Okay maybe I often come to school this early.
For me to set this whole thing, I must recall the faces of those people who also go to school a little early than usual. My plan is simple, all I have to do is put a rose into a locker and drop a letter with the instructions written on it.
I was about to execute my plan when I saw a guy leaning beside a wall who looks very familiar. I walk towards him only to find out it was Scott—a close friend of mine.
“Hey.” I greeted then his full attention was on me now.
“Avan.” He smiled and I gave him one as well.
“I haven’t seen you since…” he nodded at my statement causing me not to finish it since I already knew that he got my point. You see, Scott is one of the foot ball players. I met him at Clark’s party when I saw him fighting with a girl which I assumed back then was his girlfriend. When the girl left, I quickly made my way to him and offered him some drinks to cool him down. After that night we became great friends. Then one time, I saw a guy who’s not from our school, beating him up. I helped Scott and that was the day he told me that he was gay. I didn’t honestly have that vibe at first since he was very manly so I was really shocked with what he admitted. But being his friend, I accepted him and as far as I can remember the last time we talked was when he told me that Jedd, his ex boyfriend, broke up with him.
“So anyways” he paused breaking the awkwardness”how are you?” he asked.
“I’m great. You?”
“Same. Amm, Avan I just wanted to thankyou again for keeping my secret it really means alo-” I cut him off “don’t worry it’s nothing.” I finished,
“If you need anything just tell me okay?” he smiled and that’s where it hit me.
“Actually, I need a huge favor.” I grinned. He looked at me before he nodded, then he asked what I needed. I told him the whole plan and how it should be a secret which no one must know that I’m the one who asked him to do it. With no complaints, he quickly agreed to my favor. I gave him the flowers and he said that he’ll take care of it. I gave him a warm smile then said my gratitude and goodbye then we parted ways, me, going to the club office and him to do the plan.
