Chapter 5: A Word from Katherina

Bellamin stood up and walked over to Katherina telling her that she needed to back off. Then Katherina said something that I nor Alivyre could hear.

Then Bellamin turned and walked over to me obviously not wanting to do something then kneeled in front of me and said something that only I could hear, "I wish we could still talk but I'm not allowed to speak or see you again", and then he leaned into me and kissed me on the cheek and when he pulled back he had tears in his eyes. Then he grabbed his backpack and walked away.

Then the nurse came out and told Alivyre that her brother wanted to speak with her alone so I stayed out of the office alone with Katherina.

Katherina took one look at me and then told me to sit against the wall. So I sat and she stood over me and got down on her knees and got in my face while saying, "If you ever get anywhere near Bellamin again, I will personally make sure that you are removed from this school and never heard from again. Trust me when I say this you do not want to make me angry and you definitely do not want me to tear you apart".

Then she stood up and took another look at me and said, "Have a nice day" and walked away as if nothing happened.

As she left a voice to my left said, "Don't be afraid of her. She is just all talk no bite" I looked over and there stood one of her friends, Molly Russell.

I looked at her for a minute then asked, "Why would you tell me that when you're one of her best friends?".

"Would you rather me not have told you and let you be afraid that something would happen if she knew that you and Bellamin were hanging out?" she asked instead of answering my question. She had a point though I and Bellamin had become great friends and I didn't want him to get hurt just because I made a stupid mistake and continued to hang out with him. But at the same time, I didn't care because I wanted to be with him for some strange reason.

"I know that the two of you like each other" she said pulling me out of my thoughts.

"I have never told anyone that" I said quickly.

"I know you haven't but your facial expressions have betrayed you each time the two of you at each other without trying to, you two get lost in each other" she explained.

Why is she telling me this? My question was answered when Bellamin came around the corner smiling at me. Why is he still here and smiling at me? Bellamin came over and wrapped me into a small bear hug and Molly saw that I was very confused.

Molly saw me and laughed. Then she got very serious and said, "In order for you to get out of that confusion state, you will want me as your friend".
