Chapter 7: Meeting Brian

Over the next few days Mary had been watching me and Adoward very carefully because of what had happened a few nights ago. Troy kept telling her that we weren't doing anything but she won't listen to him. So every time when we went somewhere Mary would ask where we were going. Friday came and all the kids were still talking about the fight that happened on Monday. I told Adoward to ignore it but kids kept coming up to him asking him why he wouldn't fight back. Instead of responding he would just ignore them and pretend that he didn't hear them. At the end of the day Adoward and Alivyre walked home but I stayed behind because I had told Mary that I had Color Guard till seven pm. So I went to the Band room and waited for practice to start. Then Molly came in.

"You're in the Guard now too I see" she said.

"Yeah" I replied.

"Good Luck catching up"

"Won't need it" I said as the coach came in.

Soon it was 6:59 and we were putting the equipment away Molly came up to me and said that she was surprised that I was able to catch up so quickly. Then I went outside to see Troy and Adoward waiting for me in the van. As I got in the van Adoward climbed into the back seat to sit next to me. Obviously Troy didn't mind. He never did nor has. When we got home I and Adoward went upstairs to find Alivyre waiting for us. Then we all went into Adoward's room to talk till dinner was ready. After dinner we went back up to Adoward's room and talked the night away as usual. At like 2:30 in the morning Mary came in and saw all three of us asleep in Adoward's room and she went and got Troy and they came back to Adoward's room and saw Adoward and I sleep with each other again. Troy told Mary to leave us and she was furious again for the next few days again. Mary forbid Adoward and me to be anywhere near each other those few days. While we were at school though we would talk and catch up with each other on things that would happen if one was somewhere and the other wasn't. Then the day Mary let us be near each other we were only allowed to be near each other when she was around. The next day I was talking to Molly and Bellamin after school and Someone came around the corner and he scared Molly so bad that we all bursting out laughing and she saw that it was her boyfriend.

"Is this who you wanted me to meet Molly?" He said pointing at me.

"Yes it is! Makaylae this is my boyfriend Brian" she said gesturing to the boy next to her.

"Hi. Nice to meet you Brian" I said with my still rich English accent but I was slowly losing the accent.

"You're losing that accent aren't you Makaylae?" asked Brian.

"Yeah" I said with a quick laugh.

Then Adoward and Alivyre came over and told me that Troy was here to take us home. I then turned to my new friends and said bye as Alivyre started dragging me to Troy's van laughing and shoved me in the van.
