Kara slowly felt herself returning from the deep slumber. Her eyes wouldn't open, they refused to cooperate with the rest of her body. She let out a groan, focusing on her hearing.
A car engine was running, a car she was inside of, but the car stood still. She let out a new groan, slowly pushing herself to a sitting position. Her eyes slowly began working in her favor, but everything was dark and blurry.
-"Kara, I need you to be quiet." Scott said with panic in his voice. He shifted in the passenger seat, taking a look in the back of the car. He started panicking even more now since Kara was sitting up.
-"Where are we?"-"I am truly sorry for this!" Scott muttered as he threw his fist towards Kara. He hit her perfectly in the head, the girl passing out once again. Scott sighed and turned around. Stiles was running up to his Jeep, getting inside.
-"Where are we supposed to take her? I'm certainly not taking her to my house," Stiles announced as he immediately began driving down the road. The fact that they just escaped the police, made Scott relax just a tiny bit more.
-"We'll take her to Deaton. He'll know what to do," Scott said, turning his head to take a quick look at Kara. What had happened to her? They were gone for 40 minutes, and when they returned she laid passed out. It made no sense.Stiles drove to the animal clinic as fast as the Jeep would allow him. He was determined that he would reach Deaton before Kara decided to die. He wouldn't tolerate to have a corpse in his car.
As they arrived to the clinic, Scott didn't waste any time. He took Kara's limp body out of the car and tossed her on his shoulder.
-"Stiles, open the door!" Scott called out as they approached the back door.Stiles, who was keeping in the back hurried up to the door, opening it so that Scott could enter. Once he went through, Stiles followed in his heels. The clinic always seemed so sinister from the back entrance.
-"Deaton, we need your help!" Scott announced as they entered his working area. Deaton didn't seem surprised that Scott came running in with a limp body on him. Deaton wasn't surprised at all. When Kara had come here and asked for advice, he knew it would only be a matter of hours before Peter got to her.
-"What's up with her?" Deaton asked, walking up to the metal table in the middle of the working space. He quickly removed the working equipment from his desk, pointing to it. "Lay her down."
-"We're here 'cause we need you to figure that out. Hopefully, you can figure it out," Scott replied while laying Kara on the table. He slowly stepped away from her, taking a second look at her.
-"Have you checked her body?" Deaton asked, carefully taking one of her arms in his, studying it.
-"Checked her for what?" Scott replied, crossing his arms. He quickly looked at Stiles. His friend was just as confused as himself.-"For bite marks," Deaton said, taking a look at her other hand. After a few minutes of looking at her arms and legs, he grabbed the hem of her grey shirt. The bandages from the wound caused by the rod was still there, but a part of it was covered in red liquid.
-"You think she's bit? That might just be from the wound she got at the school," Stiles spoke up, walking up beside Scott. Deaton shook his head, grabbing a pair of scissors. He cut open the bandage, opening it to reveal her bloody skin. Then he sighed, turning towards the boys.
-"She's bit. I dont know if her body is strong enough to turn her. She might die here."
-"What will we do if she dies?" Stiles asked, turning his head towards Scott. His eyes were wide.
-"Then we must tell the police we found her like this just out on the street. I don't want to go to jail because of Peter," Scott said, shaking his head. They should never have left her alone there. They should have known Peter would return before them.
