Scott stared at his phone in disbelief. Worry was running through him, given the fact that he had been calling both Kara and Allison non-stop for the past twenty minutes. He knew something wasn't right. He felt it in every cell in his body. They would have picked up or answered by now. He looked towards his best friend, the both of them wondering.

-"I don't understand why Allison and Kara won't answer their phones! Something has happened them, given that only Chris' car is here, but he's not home either. We should search for them," Scott said, driving out of Chris' driveway.
-"It's been twenty minutes, Scott. Give it some more time, and don't stress yourself up. I guarantee you that they're all safe," Stiles said, crossing his arms.

Scott rolled his eyes, driving towards the town, keeping his eyes peeled for any familiar cars. In case they were driving on the road, he would have liked to see them. Then he would at least know that they were okay. Minutes passed, and it felt like hours for him.
Suddenly his phone began vibrating and he answered it without looking at the number. He knew it had to be someone he knew.

-"Yeah?" Scott said stressed, focusing on the road ahead. He waited eagerly for the other end to say something.
-"Scott, it's Chris. Would you be able to hurry up and get to the hospital? All three of us needs some support. Allison's doing fine, and would you keep her company? Kara's giving birth right now, and I have to stay by her side now," Chris said, and Scott could hear the worry in his voice.

-"Don't worry, we'll be there in a few," Scott said, hanging up. He let his phone fall from his grip, pressing the pedal down. The car drove faster, and Scott sighed for himself.
-"What was wrong?" Stiles asked, feeling dreadful. He didn't like to sit on with other drivers, afraid that they would crash into something.
-"They're in trouble, and did need help," Scott said, speeding the car. He went as fast as the speed limit allowed, trying not to stress himself over anything. He knew Stiles was dying to get some answers, but he couldn't have the both of them stressed out.

-"What's going on with them, then? You can't just not tell me," Stiles said, crossing his arms.
-"They're at the hospital! Kara is giving birth to their child, and Chris wanted us to comfort Allison!" Scott said, seeing the hospital appear further ahead. He pulled off the road, finding a space to park the car. The two boys hurried out of the car, making their way towards the building.

They ran into the building, and Scott laid his eyes upon his mother. Melissa spotted the two boys, and she made her way up to them.
-"Allison's on the third floor," Melissa said, giving Scott a clap on his shoulder. The boy nodded gratefully, and they made their way towards the elevators. They appeared on the third floor, and Scott finally laid his eyes upon Allison. He ran towards her, settling down beside her.

He could see bruises on her arms, and her hair being tangled and messy. The girl had been crying, given her red and puffy eyes.
-"Heard anything yet?" Scott asked, grabbing a hold of Allison's arm. He tried to take some pain, but quickly found out that Allison hadn't been harmed. It calmed him down.
-"No, they've been in there for some time now, but I can't hear her screaming anymore, do maybe they're done. Scott, Deucalion and his pack attacked us, and they're after Kara and Evelyn. We need to protect that baby at all cost," Allison said, biting her lips nervously.

-"Deucalion want the baby? Nothing ceases to surprise me any longer, honestly. What could be so special about it?" Scott whispered, shaking his head back and forth. Silence settled as they all continued to think and wonder about the baby. None of them managed to come up with anything good, and therefore no one said anything.
It was only when the door to their left opened, that the silence vanished.

-"How is she doing?" Scott asked and hurried up from the chair, seeing the bloody bandage on Chris' head. The grown man seemed slightly overwhelmed, and Scott couldn't blame him either.
Allison got up from the chair she had been sitting in, and she proceeded to give her father a hug.
-"Is Kara okay?" Allison asked, pulling away from their hug. Chris let out a breath, one that he seemed to have been holding in for quite some time.
