Chapter 3

Next morning I wake up with the sun light and groan thinking that I have to go to school today as well. At least it has something positive. I don't get to be with Dylan for 7 hours. I get up from my bed and get in the shower. After that, I dry myself, put my hair in a ponytail and get dressed (www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?.locale=es&id=180413689). After that I grab my backpack with my school stuff and head downstairs to find my parents in the kitchen. I enter in and they give a stare joined with a sight.

"Good morning to you too" I say rolling my eyes.

"I don't think you're in a good situation to roll your eyes" My mum says and I mumble a "whatever" so they don't hear me.

"What did I do now?" I ask grabbing an apple.

"So you don't know?" She asks raising an eyebrow. I deny smiling. "Then let me remind you. You said you hated your brother, you were rude to him and you said you wished he wasn't here."

"And all of that is true" I spat frowning.

"Listen to me young lady," My dad says slamming his hand on the table. "If I ever see you behaving like that again with anyone, I don't care with who, I'll make sure you won't see any one except me and your mum for the rest of the year you understood?" I start becoming furious and I frown even more.

"I don't care what you do if that means I don't have to be with Dylan anymore! And you all can forget about me being friends with him again!" I yell from the top of my lungs. They look at the kitchen door and I do the same. I see Dylan standing there with her mouth wide open. I guess he heard everything. I feel guilt in my stomach but it goes away fastly. I sight and pass through him to make my way to school. I grab my Iphone 5 that my parents gave me for my brithday last year and put my headphones on. "Welcome to my life" by Simple Plan starts rolling and I start singing along to it. I finally arrive to the bus stop and I get in it.

*15 minutes later

I get off the bus and get inside the school. I go to my locker and find Isaac and Nalani standing there grabbing their books.

"Hey guys" I say smiling.

"Hey!" They say at the same time.

"How was your family night yesterday?" Isaac asks with a guilty face.

"Sucked" I say grabbing my history books.

"What happened?" Nalani asks.

"I apparently was rude to Dylan when I said all the truth about him" I say and they both sight smiling.

"Skyler, you should give him an opportunity. He looked so happy to see you yesterday" Nalani says putting a hand on my shoulder.

"Why would I?" I ask "He didn't care about us when he was away and I won't care about him just because he feels guilty". I say and they both roll their eyes. I do the same to them and we head to the first class.

We finally get to the lunch break and me and my friends go to the cantine. I grab a sandwich and a bottle of water with an apple. They both do the same and we all sit in a table with the rest of our crew.

"Hey guys" Aliana says smiling. "How were your first classes?"

"We had History, Maths, Spanish and English so you can guess how they were" I say suspiring.

"Boriiing!" The twins say with their thumbs down making us laugh. "What are you doing in the afternoon?" Keahi asks.

"Nothing, why?" Liko responds swalling his food.

"I hear they're going to put "The Visit" right after class" Keahi says smirking.

"Oh my god! I want to see that movie so bad!" Nalani says. "We can go when we finish here huh?"
