In love with my brother's best friend?

Chapter 6 (Part 1)

Next morning I wake up and go on my phone. I see that I got some texts from my dance crew friends and my teacher.

Kai: Hey guys! What's up? I just saw on twitter that there's going to be an Urban Dance Contest here in Oahu and I'm sure that you'd love to go so what do you think?

Isaac: That'd be great, man!

Nalani: Note me as well!

The rest of the group: We're all willing to win!

Sky: Last but not least! I'll give all my power on the dance floor!

Kai: That's how I like you guys to be! How about meeting in 1h in the High School to practice?

Everyone: Sure! See you there!

With that I close my phone and I go put a dance outfit (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=186000563). After that, I get my backpack and put my hair in a high pony tail. I make my bed and go downstairs to find my mum sitting down in the kitchen. I smile at her and she smiles at me.

"Good morning, mum" I say grabbing a bowl of cereal with milk.

"Good morning, honey. Are you feeling better?" She asks.

"Yeah. By the way. We are going to participate on a dance contest so I will go practice now with my friends and I will be here for dinner"

"Alright, sweety. Do you want me to take you?"

"Ahm, no don't worry I'll take the bus" I say and she noods smiling. With that I finish my breakfast and head to the high school. At least I can have a day with just my friends doing what I love.

*Dylan's POV

I wake up to the house door being closed. I get up from my bed and put on some jeans and a white t-shirt with some black Vans. I go wash my hair and go downstairs. I find my mum in the kitchen scrolling on her phone.

"Hey, mum. Have you seen Sky?" 

"She went to a dance lesson and she will be back for dinner" She says looking at me. "By the way, yesterday when I arrived I found her in her room crying her eyes out. She told me she wasn't feeling well. Do you know what could happen?"

I sight and my heart breaks in pieces when I hear that I made my sister cry.

"Thomas and Sky went to buy some Halloween stuff yesterday and they were out for a really long time so I thought something could've happened to them. So I called her several times but she didn't respond and I got worried so when they came home I yelled at her." I explain sitting in front of her.

"What did you say to her?" She asks sighting.

"She told me  to leave her alone and that she was better without me and to tell her why I didn't come home to see you guys. I told her I couldn't yet so she thinks I don't care about her" I explain rubbing my hair and huffing.

"Dylan, I think that you and her should have a talk about everything that happened this past 5 years" She says and my eyes grow wide open.

"Are you sure I should tell her?" I ask. She noods looking at me in the eyes. "Ok, mum. I will talk to her when she comes back"
