Chapter 6 (Part 2)

Sky's POV

"Hey guys!" I say when I enter inside the school gym. 

"Hey Sky!" Kai says smiling. They all turn around and wave at me. I put my backpack away and join the group. 

"What are you up to?" I ask happily.

"We are choosing the song we want to dance for the contest. We have a lot already in the list but we haven't decided yet" Nalani says suspiring. "Do you have any in mind?"

"Uhm, I guess we could dance a remix of Hula and Hip Hop huh?" I say smirking.

"I love the idea" The twins say smiling.

"Off we go then!" Kai says and we all smile excitedly. "No we just gotta choose the song"

"I got a remix of "Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride" on my phone. We can dance to it" Alana says.

"I like you guys come with that spirit" Kai says and we all laugh. She plugs her phone on the speaker and we start to practice.

*After the practice

"It was amazing guys! I think we have the contest in our hands" Kai says proudly.

"When are we practicing again?" Liko asks.

"It would be great if you guys could be here after your classes for a while" 

"I don't think there'll be a problem" Isaac says and we all nood in agreement.

"Awesome then. Well, I gotta get going dinner guys. See you tomorrow!" Kai says and runs out of the school making us chuckle.

"I'm leaving too, guys. My brother's friends are probably waiting for me to have dinner" I say rolling my eyes and smirking. "See you tomorrow at school!" 

"See you!" They all say and with that we all go to our houses.

I finally arrive home and find the others and my family starting to sit at the table to start having dinner.

"I'm home!" I yell from the top of my lungs making everyone jump. I giggle and get inside the kitchen. "Is dinner ready?" 

"It will be when you go change your sweating clothes" My dad says and I roll my eyes smiling. 

"I'll be down in a minute" I say and see Thomas winking me an eye which makes me smile from ear to ear. I change my clothes to a confy outfit (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=186691286) and put my warm socks on. After that, I put my hair in a high pony tail and go downstairs. I sit between Thomas and Blake and we start having dinner. We chat happily and I start telling them about my contest. It was a really nice dinner. After finishing it, we all put our plates on the dishwasher and since Dylan's friends are staying here for a while I decide to go talk with Kaya.

"Hey Kaya" I say smiling.

"Hey! How's everything?" She asks smiling. "You gotta tell me about your date with Thomas" She whispers and I chuckle.

"I will if you sleep in my room tonight" I say and she noods smiling. 

"Seems we will have a girls night then" She says and I smile from ear to ear. Gosh this girl is so cool. 

"Girls?" We turn around to see Thomas.

"Yeah?" Kaya says raising an eyebrow.

"Do you mind if Sky comes with me for a while?" He asks and Kaya smirks. I roll my eyes to her and go with Thomas.

"Hey sweetie" He says making me blush. 

"Hey" I say smiling. "What happened?"

"I wanted to ask if you'd like to go to the backyard with me for a while" He says and I raise my eyebrows.

"Ahm, okay" I say and he grabs my hand and drags me outside. He grabs a blanket and lies it on the ground so we can lie down on it looking at the stars. "The Hawaiian sky is gorgeous isn't it?" I ask admiring the darkness. 

"It is" He says calmly and he leans down to me kissing my lips. When he pulls apart I smile from ear to ear. "I love you, Sky"

"I love you too" I say and I rest my head on his chest. After a while, we decide to go back in the house where we find the others turning off the Nintendo Wii.

"Hey, guys" Dylan says and I simply nood. He sights sadly and I go drink a glass of water in the kitchen. I hate it when he talks to me like nothing happened. I hear everyone going upstairs and see my brother getting in the kitchen. I sit down in one of the chairs and start scrolling down my instagram. "Skyler, can I talk to you?" He asks and I sight. I close my phone and look at him frowning.

"You can if you're not going to behave like a jerk" I say.

"Skyler, I'm sorry alright? I didn't mean to be an asshole to you and Thomas the other night. I was just worried" He says and I look down. He sits in front of me.

"You don't have to worry about me. I'm not a child as I was when you left" I say and my eyes start to get watery but I hold my tears.

"I know, Sky. But you are my little sister and I couldn't handle that something happened to you because of me"

"And why do you worry now? Just because you are here doesn't mean that I feel good about you leaving us without a reason" I say and he sights sadly.

"There's a reason. And that's what I'm going to tell you now" He says and I look at him in the eyes. "I-I had to leave because I became really sick and they could only do the surgery I need in L.A. The surgery was really dangerous because my heart was really ill and it wouldn't work anymore unless I got a new one. After two months of having different tests at the hospital, they finally found a heart that would fit me and they did the transplant. When I woke up from the surgery they told me it was really hard and that it would be dangerous if I'd do a normal life so I had to stay in the hospital with different treatments for a really long time until they told me everything was fine and I could continue with the acting career for the last year" He explains and by then tears were running down my face.

"Then wh-why did you tell me it was for your acting career?" I ask sobbing.

"Mum, dad, and me didn't want you to become sad and we knew that you'd be devastated if you knew about what I was going through. Mum and dad told me that if you knew about it, you'd probably want to help and that you'd be really sad when you learnt that you couldn't do anything so that's why I couldn't tell you anything." He says and I start crying harder.

"I-I'm sorry for being so mean to you. I didn't know you were sick and I didn't want to make you feel bad" I cry. I really feel so bad right now. How could I be so selfish? "I'm sorry for being so grumpy towards you and for being a stupid selfish girl that only cares about herself" I say trying to clean my face. He inmediatly gets up and pulls me in a hug.

"Hey, baby girl" He says sweetly. He used to call me that when I was a kid and I was sad. "Don't be sorry anymore. You're all forgiven and know that I love you so much. I promise I'm not leaving you again without letting you know the reason" 

"I love you too, Dylan" I say resting my head on his shoulder. "I'm so glad that I got my big brother back" He chuckles and kisses my cheek. He cleans my face with his sweater and gives me a huge smile"

"And I'm so glad that I am back" He says smiling. "Come on, lets go to sleep. Tomorrow we will pick you up from school and go to the cinema after your dance lesson"

"Awesome!" I say and we all go to our rooms. When I go in, I find Kaya a way asleep on her bed, which was a mattress lying on the floor. I chuckle and have a quick shower. I put on my pijamas and lie on my bed falling asleep in less than 10 minutes.
