The Reaper (a naruto fanfic *adopted from Kiraenglish*)

Kamis pov

When me and my reaper were rescued I watched as he fell into a deep slumber.

His wounds were so deep.

The young medics have been treating him for a whole three hours to stop the bleeding.

I knew he would be alright cause he couldn't die without my permission.

I kept calling out to him from my heart.

I held his hand as the humans had finished all they could and we had been put on a boat to rest.
His breathing was so slow and weak.

I was afraid of losing him.

His teammates came by and would sit with me on the other side and ask me questions. All I told them was my name and that I had to stay with Dark until I knew he would wake again.

They allowed me but one would stay to watch over us.

I was still a bit weak from my own torturing but I didn't get hurt as much as Dark did. I guess because Dark kept making the human mad at him.

His sleeping face doesn't even look like it's in pain anymore.

In the middle of the night I heard it.

His heart stopped beating and my eyes widened in fear.

His sensei was with me at the time.

He quickly moved me away and got a medic to make his heart beat again.

It wasn't working.

I push the medic and the man away and placed both of my hands on Darks chest. I had my eyes closed for a second before opening them as they glowed brightly under my hood.

I spoke one soft commanding word to come back to me. "Live!"

Dark gasped in air as his heart started beating again.

I smile as my eyes dimmed and I started to fall in exhaustion as I had used almost all of my stamina then.

I had no chakra at the time as I had used most of it to try to heal both of us slowly. His would scar but mine wouldn't.

Before I fell to the ground I was caught by the man with silver hair.

He was always my favorite human.

He would have a better future one day in a few years from now.

I smiled softly at him and looked to Dark sleeping soundly.

My hand reached for him but it didn't get far.

The man picked me up and gently set me on my side next to Dark. My hand had taken Darks into mine and I held it as I slowly fell into sleep myself not letting go.

He was mine.

And I am his.

Together we are safer.

Together we live stronger.

So I will not leave his side until I know he's alright.

With that thought I slept and dreamt of the future.
