Aubrey
The loud vibration of my cell phone against my bedroom nightstand woke me up. I groaned. Even though I wanted nothing more but to go back to sleep I reached for my phone. I grabbed it and prepared my eyes to look at its screen. The bright light stung my eyes but they adjusted to it. The loud vibration was a text sent from Shawn.

Hey Aubs can I pick u up at 11?I smiled at the nickname he had given me. I looked at the time at the top of my phone screen. There was only forty five minutes until eleven, I supposed that that was enough time for me to get ready. So, I texted him back.

11 is great. I'll see u then.I then got out of bed to eat some breakfast and get ready for the day.
Shawn
I laid out on my bed, waiting for Andrew to answer my phone call. It took him four rings before picking up.
"Hey Shawn, how's it going?" He asked.
"Hey Andrew, I'm doing pretty great." I replied as I sat up.
"That's great. How is the writing coming along?" He asked.
"Uh, well that's what I called to talk to you about." I replied, tugging at the hair on the top of my head.
"Shawn." Andrew sighed. He was starting to say something but I cut him off.
"It's all good news, don't worry about it." I chuckled. Andrew stayed quiet so I took this as my time to speak."I met some girl the other day, her name is Aubrey. She is an amazing song writer, I mean incredible! Anyway what I am trying to tell you is, she agreed to help me write my album." I said. Andrew continued to stay quiet.
"She's helping me free of charge." I added.
"What?" Was all Andrew said. I sighed.
"I can't write the album on my own man, I tried. I think I just need some extra help, and from someone other than a writer David hires. They won't listen to me." I said. I continued."Aubrey's my age and she's down to earth. I trust her.".
"For a girl you only met a few days ago?" He asked.
"Yeah. I mean, it's not like I had all the time in the world to get to know her completely before I asked her to help me. Trust me, she's a really good writer." I said.
"Alright, I trust you. Anything that is going to help you write your album your own way I support." Andrew said.
"Thanks." I replied."Shawn." He said, grabbing my attention.
"I would like to meet her soon.".
"Alright." I replied.
"Alright, I'll talk to you later." Andrew said. We then said our goodbyes and I ended the call.I then went to my texts and decided to text Aubrey. About a minute later she responded.
Aubrey
I was walking down the stairs, belly full and ready for the day, when I heard the doorbell ring. I doubted that the sound awoken my sleeping mother, for she was a deep sleeper. I made sure to leave her a note on the fridge after breakfast so she knew where I was and who I was with. I ran to the door and opened it as soon as my hand grabbed the knob. Shawn who was looking to the side, towards the driveway, turned his head to look at me. He smiled wide.
"Hey," he said, "You look nice today.". I looked down at the burgundy pull over sweater I wore, as well as my black skinny jeans and Vans."As opposed to yesterday?" I questioned with a chuckle. Shawn's eyes went wide for a second as if he thought I had taken his compliment to offence.
"You looked great yesterday, I didn-".
"Relax Shawn, I was just joking. Thank you. You don't look so bad yourself." I replied as I walked out of the house with my shoulder bag, that held my music folder, on my shoulder. Shawn looked relieved and laughed. As we walked towards the driveway I noticed a nice looking jeep.
"Is this yours?" I asked, slowing down as I neared it. Shawn wore a big smile and nodded over to me before replying.
"Yeah, it is.".
"Nice." I said, making my way to the passenger side. Shawn followed me, and just as I was about to grab the door for myself he did it for me.
