There was a boy who loved the stars.
He named them names unlike any other.
He promised them he'd always be there,
And that they were his family, the same.

He grew up and left his stars,
And became bitter by society.
And the nighttime sky called out to him,
Only to have them be labeled as another variety.

No longer did the stars matter,
No more were they family.
Until a day that came,
When he met a girl named Emily.

"I'm a star" she told him,
Only to hear him say "yes you are"
And when she said "No, one of YOUR stars, and my fate is very grim."
He frowned and walked away.

She followed him everywhere,
And when he asked why,
She told him "the stars say you've been unfair"
He sighed and thought her to be mad.
And when he left, she followed him again.
"You're nothing but a lunatic" he cried.
"And you're nothing but a big sin" she screeched.
Then, finally she captured him.

Now the man, bitter from society,
Lives among the stars.
"We're a family" you'll hear.
"But help me out, I'm trapped forever" he'd shout.
