"Mila!" My mom yelled, bursting into my room.
I jumped. "Wh-what?!" I stuttered, holding my hands to my chest. "What is  Lauren doing here?" My mom snapped. "Uh, her parents are out of town. And she needed a place to stay," I explained, with a small smile. My mom huffed,"Why didn't you ask us first?" I paused and then said,"You guys were asleep and I didn't want to wake you. Her parents were going earlier that morning, so I told her to come to our house," She nodded,"Ok. Don't do that EVER again. Got it?" I nodded.
_______________
I strummed on my guitar.

When your legs don't work like they used to before

And a car swept you off your feet

Will your mouth still remember the taste of my love

I sang softly going with the strums. I wrote down song lyrics when I got inspired. I had 1 page full of lyrics in my notebook. I closed my notebook and hid it under my bed. I went downstairs. Surprisingly, Lauren was still asleep. I began cooking some pancakes.

I placed slices of banana on my pancake. I drizzled syrup and added whipped cream. I walked over to Lauren and shook her. "Lauren," I whispered. "What now?" She groaned. "I made you breakfast," I smiled.
_______________
"You know, ever since you guys broke up, you looked at me...weirdly?" Lauren said. I tilted my head. "I've never looked at you 'weirdly'. Why do you think that?" She gulped her orange juice down and managed to say,"Well, you stare at me. Not like thats a bad thing!" I hesitated. "Oh sorry..." I said, quietly. "No, no. I didn't mean it that way. Well, um. Ok, I've never told anyone except my parents this," Lauren said. I perked up,"I'm listening," I looked at her. " I-I'm not straight," She stuttered. I gasped. "Oh my god! Really! Why were you so nervous?" She shrugged,"I'm bisexual. I was just nervous on how you would think ya know?" I shaked in excitement. "Um and when I said my parent's were out of town. They kicked me out," Lauren buried her face into her hands. She was crying. This was a rare sight. I rubbed her shoulder,"Why- Why would they?" She sniffled,"They don't support that kind of stuff," I covered my mouth. "I'm sorry..." I said quietly. She shook her head,"There's nothing to be sorry about!" How could her parents just kick her out like that? Thinking about it made my blood boil.
_______________
I took out my diary. And started to write my thoughts.

Lauren is bisexual. I never thought she would be. But her telling me that made me think about who I was. Was I really straight? I look at Lauren different than I look at my other best friends. Her intense green eyes pull me in and she is just so fierce and gorgeous. Her voice was so husky. I just need some time to figure out myself, don't I.

I closed my notebook and left it on my bed. I left my room and went to go take a shower.

I put on my clothes and pull my hair into a ponytail. I go into my room to put my notebook away but I see Lauren reading. Reading my notebook. "Lauren?" I said. "Hey Camz!!" Lauren exclaimed nervously, putting down the book faster than lightning. "What are you doing in my room?" I furrowed my eyebrows and grab my notebook and sticked it under my bed. "Just laying here," She answered. "You read my notebook didn't you," I said. "I read what you thought about me! And I thought that the way you looked at me was the same way I looked at you. Not exactly, but I look at you differently," Lauren blurted. I widened my eyes. "R-Really? I don't think I figured what I am yet though," I sat next to her. "It's okay, Camzi," She whispered,"I was the same way. Figure yourself out," She stood up and walked out of my room. My heart beat faster than usual. I laid down. 'Figure yourself out'. That's what I'll do.
