Today is Graduation. I curled my hair, smiling nervously at myself in the mirror. I wore my royal blue and gold gown. My hat sat on the counter next to a mess of lipsticks, and mascara.

"I'm so proud of you guys!" My dad said to Lauren and I, holding out his fist. We bumped the fist, and proceeded to the living area where everybody was piled.

"I just wanna say you look absolutely amazing today, Camzi." Lauren whispered to me as we walked down the hall. "You look more amazing." I replied, giggling.

Lauren and I sat behind the curtains of the stage. People piled inside the auditorium. "Mila! Laur!" Normani exclaimed, hugging us tightly. "You almost knocked me over!" I laughed. "Milaaaa! Laur Laur! Where's that Ally?" Dinah said, pulling us in for another hug. "I'M HERE!" Ally yelled, running towards us.

"I can't believe we are graduating." Lauren said, smiling. "This is unreal." I nodded in agreement.

Butterflies were in my stomach as they called names for diplomas. "Karla Camila Cabello!" The woman announced. I arose from my seat, looking back at Lauren and my 3 other friends who gave me a huge smile and a thumbs up. I smiled widely to the crowd, and to everyone on the stage.

We all stood next to eachother. "Congratulations to all the graduates of Sunshine Palm High school!" They announced. Everyone threw their caps in the air. I cheered. I felt around for Lauren's hands and held her hand in my own. I looked at her and we met eyes. I smiled. Lauren wrapped her arms around me, taking me by surprise.

"Congrats, banana." She said.

I sat at my laptop, looking at apartments in Washington by our university. My phone buzzed.

{Laur Bear}
Camz why are you looking at apartments, we go in like 2 months goof

I rolled my eyes, playfully. I quickly sent my reply.

{Camz}
Im just excited

It was true. The excitement and thrill of going to university, to a new state, and getting your own apartment was kind of overwhelming but fun at the same time.

{Laur Bear}
Im excited too but you don't see me looking at apartments 2 months early

I stifled a laugh. Lauren was a teaser. But her kindness, and well gorgeousness makes up for everything. I set my phone down, and went downstairs where Alessia was.

"Here comes one of the graduates!" Alessia said, holding out her arms for a hug. After the hug, I grabbed a banana from the counter and began peeling the fruit. "Party starts in like 30 minutes, so I'm gonna go get dressed into something better. You should too." She said, going down the hallway.

I slipped into the bathroom. I hopped into the shower, and lathered my body with soaps, and shower creams. Rinsing all of the things off with cold water, and grabbing a towel, I walked out of the shower and into the cold bathroom. I shivered, snuggling into the towel.

I twirled in my pastel blue dress. "What do you think?" I asked, posing. "You look beautiful." Lauren smiled. "Thanks!" I blushed. "Is that what you are wearing?" I asked, looking at her outfit. She wore a black leather jacket, covering her black crop top, and high waisted jeans. "Yeah, whats wrong with it?" She asked. "Nothing, I was just wondering. Come on, let's go downstairs." I answered, reaching my hand out.

"No."

I froze at the sudden change. "What?" I asked, even though I heard her. "No." Lauren said, releasing her hand from mine. Lauren felt her forehead, as if she had a headache.

"Are you okay? We don't have to join the party, even if it is for us." I asked her, rubbing her shoulder. "No-- I'm sorry, I don't know what has gotten into me. Let's go." Lauren apologized, walking out of the room quickly.

Shortly after, I went downstairs and looked for Lauren. "Have you guys seen Lauren?" I asked. They all shook their heads. Oh dear. I've made her mad on our graduation day.

What did I do wrong? How did I upset her?

I grabbed my phone and called Lauren.

Hey, it's Lauren! I'm not here right now, you can leave a message after the beep. Byee!

"Lauren, please come back to the party. I'm sorry for anything I've done. I don't know what I did, i'm sorry. Please, Laur." I said. I ran up the stairs and into my room.

"Camila?"

My mom peered into the room. "Yes?" I looked up from the bed. "Oh my god, what's wrong?" My mom asked, running over to me and cupping my face into her hands. "I'm fine. Nothing's wrong!" My tear stained face gave everything away and soon enough I was wrapped into the warm arms of my mother, and crying.

"I don't know what I did wrong." I sobbed. "What happened?" My mom asked.

"I told Lau-"

Suddenly, the door burst open.
