Suddenly, the door burst open and revealed a pale figure, wearing black.
"CAMILA!" Lauren ran to the bed and wrapped her arms around me before cupping my face into her hands.
"What's wrong, Camzi?" Lauren asked. My mom silently walked out of the room and closed the door leaving us alone. "I thought you were mad at me, and everyone said they didn't see you and you didn't pick up your phone, and I thought you just left." The words came out shakily.
"Oh my god, I'm sorry. I'll never leave you, ever. I just went to get you some sweets." She held up the bags of Haribo she bought. "I'm so stupid." I said.
We sat there hugging for a couple more minutes until releasing. "Come on, wash your face, we got a party to go to." Lauren said. "Yeah, we should go." I replied. I wiped the tears from my eyes. Why did I freak out? She only went to get candy.
The party was like no other. Friends, and family danced and sang the night away, eating delicious food. What a day.
