Chapter five- Athena

Damien's P.O.V

"Rogue" Talon said through the mind link.

I was with Heather when he so rudely interrupted. I sighed and pulled out of her grasp.

"I've gotta go deal with a rogue. I'll just kill it and come back in like thirty minutes."

She pouted but agreed. I ran out of the house, buttoning my shirt as I went. When I got to the study, the rogue and Tallon were no where to be seen. I looked out the window, watching a crowd gather to see the rogue.

I wonder if it's a girl or boy. I hope it's a boy, that would be so much easier. I absolutely detested killing girl rogues, because it just felt wrong.

The door opened and I smelled something that made my mouth water, but it went away as soon as the door was closed. I turned toward the door and saw Talon, with a smirk that he always wore on his face. He mouthed the words 'she's hot', then went to open the door.

That smell hit me again, and i realized that it was the rogue.

I turned toward the window again, watching the window. My wolf was screaming in my head "mate! Sexy good amazing hot good smelling beautiful mate!" Over and over again in my head.

" this is the rogue Damien," Talon said. My wolf growled when he said the word rogue. She was ours now. No longer a rogue. And she never would be again. But those were his thoughts. I didn't know what she had done to become a rogue, but it couldn't've been something small. Her reputation was probably horrible. She couldn't be our mate.

I spun around ready to reject her, but I was trapped by her bright purple eyes. They clashed so beautifully with her auburn hair that I couldn't help myself. I ran across the room, pinning her against the wall as my wolf took over.

Nathan leaned down, fully in control of my body, smelling her scent. she smelled like a waterfall. Her wolf entered my mind, and Nathan growled mine. all thoughts of rejection long gone. Her wolf, Athena, started to purr. I smiled knowing I had that effect on her.

I traced my hand over her face, and she winced when I touched her jaw, and I saw a bruise beginning to form. Nathan was immediately taking over. He wasn't only mated to Athena, but her human form as well.

I barely growled out the words "who did this to you."

Nathan was trying to get control of my body, and when her eyes shifted to Tallon, I snapped. How dare he hit a girl, and my mate no less!

I started to stalk towards him. he was saying something, but I couldn't hear him over Nathan's growling. I tried to get control back, I even asked Athena for help, but next thing I know, Tallon is on the floor and my mate's hand is on my arm.

One touch from her is all it took, and Nathan was purring and rolling on his back. He's so whipped. Well, I guess I am too since we're kind of the same person.

She looked really scared all of a sudden and I was worried.

"What's wrong?" I asked her. "are you hurt?"

Tears brimmed in her eyes and she stuttered out, "M-my wolf's gone."

I relaxed.

"Don't worry, she's with mine," I said pointing to my head.

I told her what they were doing, earning a chuckle from her every once in a while.

My wolf pinned hers, and that gave me an idea.

"I pinned you," I said opening my eyes.

"You mean your wolf pinned mine?" she asked, with no idea what I was talking about.

"Nope," I said.

I lunged at her and she side stepped me, running out the door. I loved the chase, and I was quick to pick myself up and run after her.

She paused in the doorway, and that was all I needed. I lunged and tackled her to the ground.
