I DON'T OWN ANY OF THE HARRY POTTER CHARACTERS OTHER THAN ARIANA FLOREAN ARTHUR AND NATALIE.
September 1st 1996
After months of training with Dumbledore she was ready to go to Hogwarts. Natalie had everything stuffed in her trunk and was staring at her ticket in kings cross. She looked every which way but couldn't find a platform 9 3/4. She didn't want to ask a muggle, but at the moment it was hard to find someone who wasn't dressed like one. Natalie then noticed a woman with long black hair accented with white blond streaks walking with a boy with blond hair. The two of them were dressed oddly and looked out of place with their extravagant black clothing. Their heads wear together whispering quickly. Natalie stepped in front of them,
"Excuse me miss, I'm sorry for interrupting but would you have any idea how to...” her voice started to grow faint she was embarrassed to ask - what if there was no such thing.
“Platform 9 3/4" she mumbled.
The woman raised one eye brow,
"You're going to have to speak up if you want my attention" her nose was scrunched and slightly pointing towards the sky.
"I was just wondering ma'am, if you- by any chance- happen to know where platform 9 3/4's is,' Natalie got eye contact with the boy beside her who smiled.
"You seem old for a first year," The boy sneered.
"Now now Draco," The woman paused and looked at her son, "I'm sure you could show..."
"Natalie," Natalie replied.
"You could show Natalie the way, can't you Draco?" The women leaned down and gave him a kiss on the cheek; Natalie found it hard to stifle back a laugh.
"See you at Christmas," She smiled at him, her smile looked weak fake. "Hopefully your father will be back by then." She took a glance in Natalie’s' direction and nodded.
Once alone the two of them didn't talk, the blonde boy stayed silent and in front of Natalie as they walked with their trunks being pulled behind them. The silence continued other than for one awkward conversation before they were near platform 8.
"So what is your name?" Natalie smiled at him. The boy just looked at her with a blank gaze and looked away.
"Draco Malfoy," His face stayed forward and he seemed generally uninterested. Natalie awkwardly looked around, deciding it would be better if she stayed quiet for the rest of the time.
Malfoy suddenly stopped abruptly, causing her to stumble into him. He looked at Natalie and smirked while pointing to the brick wall in front of him.
"You just run through it,” his smile was mocking, Natalie just looked at him as though he was insane.
"What do you take me for, a fool?" She thought he was just pulling her leg until,
"Okay, well you can miss the train then," as he was running towards the wall. Natalie couldn't believe her eyes; she put one hand towards her face expecting him to smash into the wall. To her astonishment Draco got right through.
A smile spread across her face as she ran, so the magic had begun.
