As they walked to Aspen's car everyone wanted to know what was going on. Aspen let go of Wesley's hand and grabbed her phone.
-Group Message:
Meet Wes and I at the beach in an hour. He and I need to talk before we fill you guys in.
Aspen hit send and dug her keys out of her pocket.
"So, did you really mean what you said back there?"
"Yes Wesley, but I still want us to go talk first." Aspen got into her car and hit the gas as soon as Wes shut the door. She drove back to her house and was surprise to find it empty. Aspen walked up the stairs and into her room to find her bikini. Wes followed behind her jumping on her bed waiting to talk. Aspen disappeared into her bathroom only to reappear minutes later needing Wesley's help with her bikini top.
"Wesley, can you tie this for me?" she asked holding the two strings in one hand while the other covered her chest.
Wes jumped up and grabbed the two strings tying them into the perfect knot across her back. He dropped his hands to her waist and pulled her back into him. Aspen let out a giggle and leaned her head back to see his face.
"You're absolutely stunning." Wes whispered across her lips. As they sat there kissing Wes had spun Aspen around to face him before pushing her back on her bed.
The only time their lips separated was when Aspen yanked Wesley's shirt off. Aspen was getting lost in the kiss while Wes let his hands roam. Wes went to untie the knot he had just created when the front door slammed shut. Aspen pushed Wes off and threw him his shirt.
"Aspen, are you here?" Her dad yelled.
"Yeah dad, I'm changing though."
"I need to talk to you." He said right outside her door.
Aspen started to panic about Wes. She looked at all the places she could hide him and decided the shower was her best option. After shutting the bathroom door she went and unlocked her bedroom door.
"Yes? I'm actually getting ready to go meet the gang at the beach."
"Did you really have to sass your mother earlier? Come on Aspen, please just be nice to her."
"Then tell her to not threaten me. Dad, I turn 18 in four months and only have one more year till I go off to college; don't you think she could start treating me more like an adult than a child."
"I'll talk to her. But if you want to quit getting treated like a child, maybe you shouldn't hide your boyfriend in your room."
Aspen's eyes widen in disbelief and her father pointed out Wesley's shoes.
"You can come out now Wesley. Next time I catch you in my daughter's room, it'll be the last." Mr. Bartlett announced before leaving the room.
"Let's go. We can talk in the car." Aspen said grabbing her flip flops and walking towards the stairs.
"The only thing that worries me about being your girlfriend is that, now I'm scared your going to want to have sex all the time. It's not that I don't want to Wes, it's just that I want us to wait a little while longer."
"You're worth the wait Aspen." Wes smiled as they pulled up to the beach.
The two of them were greeted by the group with a million questions.
"How long has this been going on?"
"When were you going to tell me?"
"Hello, details guys!"
Wes threw his hand up and started laughing.
"Ok, this has been happening for a few weeks. Remember the day Tanner nailed Aspen in the face with that volleyball, yeah that's when the spark happened while you two were sleeping."
"Next, we didn't tell anyone cause we were enjoying our alone time. Plus it's fun to sneak around!" Aspen smiled.
"I've been trying to get Aspen to give in and she's proven that she's different. But she also waited till I got Daddy's permission before she even thought about giving in. So here we are, and you guys are first to know that we are official now." Wes said pulling Aspen into his arms.
"Good! Now you won't have to feel like the third wheel at movie night Wes." Drew joked.
"Hahaha, you're so funny bro."
"Hey! What do you guys want to do tonight? I told my dad before I left that I was crashing at Tanner's till my mom and I can get along." Aspen interfered.
"Let's head back to my place and watch movies. My parent's are gone for the weekend so you guys are more than welcomed to stay."
Everyone agreed and headed back to Tanner's house. When they pulled in Aspen's mom and sister were outside getting ready to go out of town for Jordyn's next competition.
"Aspen!!"
"Good luck Jordyn, don't forget to believe in yourself."
"Thanks! I wish you were coming though."
"Next time kid. Oh and Jordyn, kick ass!" Aspen turned away and walked inside to join the others.
"Hey Tanner, do you still have that twister set?" Drew asked raising an eyebrow.
"Maybe... what do you have in mind?" Tanner smirked.
"Oh I don't know, maybe a fun game of strip twister." Drew's eyes lit up waiting for her response.
Tanner looked around the room and shook her head. "Maybe after the babies go to bed. For now lets go hit the theater room."
After watching two of the Harry Potter movies all the underage kids were out. Drew asked again and got the answer he wanted.
"Girls verse guys." Was all Drew said before spinning the dial.
"Right foot green."
All the couples were lined up ready for the next move.
