Author's Note Challenge Four

Hello to round four of the Sci-Fi Short Story Smackdown Challenge. This time, it was time for some superhuman action using five of twenty quotes.

Those were the five quotes I used:

Part I: 'With great power comes great responsibility.'

Part II: 'You're gonna suffer for what you've done. And I plan on being a very big part of that.'

Part III: 'Are you afraid you're not gonna grow into your big boy pants?'

Part IV: 'Technically speaking, he's my husband.'

Part V: 'It means we're the line between the world and the much weirder world. We protect people from news they aren't ready to hear. And when we can't do that, we keep them safe.'
