Chase's eyes are about to pop out of his head from the moment Arriana begins singing.  She could end up as successful as Christina Agiulera.  The way she hits the high notes and still keeps a bit of a gravely tone makes her perfect for the song.

About halfway through the song, Arriana throws a wink our way, and Chase's face goes red.  It's honestly pretty funny.  As Ari is finishing up her song, my phone vibrates in my pocket, and I steal a quick glance at a text from Jen.

From: Jen

You need to call me ASAP.  Big crisis on r hands.  btw.  Good luck!

I text her back quickly.

To: Jen

Well wut is it?  wait. nevr mind don't tell me... If it's that big of a crisis I don't want to think about it rite now.  I'm getting ready to perform in about ten minutes... dear Lord I'm so nervous.  Pray for me, sistah! I'll skype ya when I get back to the hotel.  TTFN.

Next to me, Chase scoots over a seat so Arriana can sit between us again.  She plops down in the seat and gives a sigh of relief.

I say, "That was amazing, Arriana!" I slip my phone back into my pocket.

"I could have done better..."

Chase butts in, "It was amazing.  You seriously sounded like Christina Aguilera. No joke."

A smile lights up on Arriana's face, "Really?"

"Really, Really," Chase reassures her.  "And there is no way they're sending you home.  That was just spectacular."

She smiles at him and blushes a bit, "Thanks, Chase."

I can't help but smile at how cute they would be together.  I've just known them for less than 24 hours, but this is obviously going to happen, and If the three of us get through, well you can call me Miss MatchMaker McGee.

I feel really bad for the guy who goes next.  He must have contracted a bout of stage fright, because the moment he steps on stage, his hands are trembling and he can barely speak, let alone sing.  I feel so bad as he runs offstage just after he introduces his song.

I hate to see things like this happen to people.  They must have so much talent, but then something like stage fright just gets to them and causes everything they've worked for to just fly out the window.  It's a shame, because I remember his audition.  He was actually auditioning for the first time a few slots ahead of my audition, and I remember that he sang with a voice as smooth as honey, and he was honestly very swoon worthy.  Of course, I didn't say anything while we were all standing backstage because Nate was standing right next to me holding my hand.  Saying something about him would have been uncalled for.
