"It's actually not that cold now, would you go for a walk with me?" I asked, looking up, "the sky is so starry and lovely."

"You're such a romantic," she snorted, already ahead of me.

"Shut up. At least I'm trying," I said,
catching up with her pace.

"I bet you read the relationship section in cosmo," she scoffed,
struggling to keep her face straight.

"Whoa.
First date and you're already suggesting a relationship?

I didn't know you wanted me that bad, girl," I added, smirking.

"Yeah, you've no idea how bad I want to scrub that smirk against the wall,"
she returned,
rolling her eyes at me.

"I wouldn't mind kissing you against that wall," I said,
dropping

my voice

a few notches.

"But, I mean, we wouldn't even get to the wall before you cut resisting my
l i p s."

"Puh-lease. It's not like you didn't practically drag me to the bathroom because you were drooling over me that time,"
she said, ceasing her walk
and turning to face me.

I tucked a strand
of hair behind her ear.
Her auburn was highlighted
under the street lamps,
bringing out the
palette of shades
in her eyes.

"You never gave me back my sweatshirt.
Do you...cuddle with it?" I grinned amused,
"I bet you do."

A slight crimson shade escalated in her cheeks.

"I sent it to the laundry store.
Had to wash out the coffee stains properly."

"Of course you did," I said,
running the tip of my tongue along my bottom lip.
"You know..." I mumbled, taking a step

closer,

"I could prove that you like me
right now... by..." my arms grabbed her by the hips, "kissing you like...

like last time."

One of my hands slipped to entwine with hers.

"But my pride is too high to do it myself," I chanted, dragging her back
to the car by the hand, taking her by surprise.

"Besides, something tells me
you're gonna give up sooner than
I think."

"Just because I went on a date with you doesn't mean I'm head over heels for you, darling,"
she said, emphasizing on the endearment.

"Keep telling yourself so,
sweetheart.

Now let's get you back home."
