Little Runner (Minho X Reader)

Chapter 2

{Your Pov}

I was awakened by someone like punching you "ow!" I say holding my arm. I then open my eyes to see Erin, of course "get up then you shank" she says getting dressed.

I grumbled a bit before getting up, not wanting to get punched again. I got dressed into the clothes you had yesterday seeing as though no one really had a widw selection of clothes here.

I leave my hair down and walk over to the shack where they eat. I get in line and once I get my food, I eat at a table by myself not wanting to cause that much attention.

"So you're the new greenie, huh?" someone asks and I see 2 slightly older guys standing by you. One of the guys had short sandy blonde hair and brown eyes while the other one was a kinda tall Asian guy with amazing black hair and brown eyes.

"Yeah, I guess you could say that" I say slightly laughing. To be honest these guys kinda scared me, they looked really well built and kind of intimidating.

"Can we join you?" the one with sandy blonde hair asked "sure" I reply and they join me at my table with Blondie on my left and amazing hair across from you.

"So, who are you?" I ask the 2 older boys. "I'm Ben and that's Minho" the sandy blonde boy, Ben, had said gesturing to the guy with amazing hair, Minho.

"I'm (Y/N), the newest 'Greenie' whatever that means" I say laughing and they laugh too. "A greenie is the newbie of the glade" Minho says.

"Oh" is all I say "and you start training today?" Minho asks as you all finish up eating our eggs. "yeah, I start off as a track-hoe, what are you guys? You must be something important if you have backpacks" you say sarcastically and was smirking slightly.

"Yeah actually, we're runners, he's the Keeper" Ben said gesturing to Minho who had a semi proud smile on his face. "Have fun girly, we gotta go" Minho says getting up "catch up with you later" Ben says playfully winking and I smile and roll my eyes at him.

I then get up yourself and put my dishes away before walking off to the gardens. "You working here today?" Erin says kind of annoyed "why else would I be here? To ride unicorns?" you say rolling your eyes.

"Whatever, just plant some seeds" she said and you did just that until lunch. Whatever Erin said went because she's the Keeper.

Ugh.

-Lunch-

I sit down at the same table as earlier but this time really alone, because Ben, Minho and Tyler are in the Maze. (Newt told me about the maze and grievers) "Hey there Greenie, how you holding up?" a certain Brit says coming up next to me.

"Hey Newt, I'm holding up pretty good but I don't think being a track-hoe is for me" I say starting on my sandwich.

"Oh, why not?" he asked me "Erin is just-ugh she gets on my nerves and I don't like to get dirty" I say and we both laugh.

"Well you got Med-Jacks training next with Clint and Jeff" Newt says and I nod. "Well that's not too bad sounding" I say "it's not really, well let's go (Y/N)" he says finishing his sandwich and we get up and walk over to the Med-Jacks hut.

I just finished patching someone up when someone was rushed in and put on a bed. "Who is it and what's wrong with them?" I ask rushing to Ben and Tyler who brought them in.

"Minho" Ben said panting "dehydration" "bloody fantastic" I say to myself "Jeff, get me some supplies for dehydration" I say to him and he grabs some supplies for me.

I stick a needle thing in his arm that allows him to stay hydrated without actually drinking. I place a cold wet cloth on his forehead and I turn to the 2 boys standing in front of me with my hands on my hips.

"Okay tell me everything that happened" I say "well, we went out into the maze and he seemed slightly distracted and when we asked him what was wrong he said nothing so we thought nothing of it and kept running" Tyler starts to explain.

"Then after a couple hours, we took a break and he only ate his apple and drank a little bit of water before we were off again" Ben finishes "then what?" I ask "then he randomly collapsed in the middle of running and so we took him here" Ben says.

"As runners you guys are supposed to stay hydrated, how much have you boys drank?" I ask them and they showed me their half done bottles.

"Good" I say and smile "now go back to running, your Keeper's gonna be fine" I say walking them out the door.

"Bye!" I say to the runners "love you!" Ben says jokingly "haha love you too!" I say pretending to blow him a kiss. He pretends to grab it and put it in his pocket.

I laugh and shake my head before walking back inside to attend to Minho.
